SP Regen shouldn’t be suspended during summoning.
And why not? You are summoning a boss to fight for you, of course it should drain you alive. All according to the Role Play.

Just wish they exchange the leash size from summon servant with summon, that would make sense.
And of course, fix the AI, why the ■■■■ the summon have to prioritize a stupid Crystal Root instead of the monster horde coming for its master?
Couse warrior got aoe with every weapon?
Couse Archer got mob on 1- 2 hits?
Couse mages are not so good in money making during grinding- couse they depend on SP and long cooldowns?
And the most pity among all mages is Sorcerer, couse I need to use plenty of SP Potions?
Yes we summon a “Boss” indeed. Do you even know summon mechanics and its AI? It got no AI. And its dps is average.
Yes i do, i am a Sorc C2 in my 240’s, do you think i lose to a swordie or archer in damage? I have Alch C1 in my build, and i do think i shouldn’t had got it and gone for Linker C2 but oh well, what is done is done, and i can tell you, Lv5 SP pots sustain me with only 50 SPR, i can keep my summon up as long as it stays alive or i have pots, sometimes when i run out of pots or i am close to, i just start to make pots on site while my summon is fending enemies.
I do agree on the AI tho, it is a mess as i stated before, same for the leash size, the summon stay too close and sometimes lure the mobs on top of us.
Not every Sorcerer is in combo with Alch- beeing easy for you does not mean is easy for others. Btw I can’t afford enchanting now, my money pull stays in one place couse I need to buy plenty of SP Pots.
Just buy Lv5 pots or Lv 10, you can let the SP drop to 300 and use a Lv 10 SP pot to fill it almost to full depending on how much SP you got, it is not a game breaking issue, its a matter of cope with your char, to make money? Sell all the crap white recipes to NPC, take note that some might sell good since it is required for other recipes (not that i remember any right now), i generally do a market search before selling the recipes, if they are all under 20k i just throw it to the NPC, every day i do dailies, do you have any idea how many white recipes drop? Not to count the ones from when i am just walking around the areas for material (alch material), be it low Lv recipes or high Lv ones i sell all on the NPC.
By enchant you mean the head cosmetics or Enhance your gear? I don’t have TP and the enchantments on my Sorc costumes are the crappiest ones out there (crit res and SP res which is useless with summon up), also, i do always carry 100 firewood on me in case of emergency.
Only use the summon if you can’t take the damage from the monsters in the area you are or for boss fights in dungeon, you have other classes skills (my case i am a Pyro C2 Link C1) so i use my offensive/support skills in the trash and save my summon for the boss, since i can use ride to cast the boss skills, it is even better since they also consume some of your SP, unfortunately for Temple Shooter, they limited the skill slots so i can’t use its basic attack while mounted on it.
Just so you know, in the iCBT 2 i suggest that at least the SP regen should be half of its total to at least keep the summon up, but in all honesty, for me now, that is no issue.
I said clearly:
farming as a swordman or archer class is very easy;
farming as a wizard, especially sorcerer is not easy at all, its difficult, mainly becouse of SP REGEN, summoning SP burst, and no SP REGEN during summoning. It shouldn’t be that way.
It doesn’t matter its all the same, indeed as a sorc you waste more money on SP pots, but that is it.
This is my last post here, sorry but i think you are playing your char the wrong way or you messed up somewhere.
While Alch is a good synergy for Sorc, it is not obligated, i took out of stupidity, do i regret? No, but i could had make a better build if i too Linker C2 instead, but it still a good class for me.
The problem with you people is, you look to your build as it is only that class, don’t make good use of the set you picked during your progress and that is where you get stuck.

But as I see lvl 5 and 10 SP Potions are really cheap according to vendor ones. Do Alchemists make them?
But still regardless of potion price, Sorcerer should benefit FROM ITS OWN BUFF which gives SP REGEN (buff from servant cat)!!!
If they allowed Sorcs to regen sp by with their summons out, what would stop them from afk-farming forever?
Edit: nothing against Sorcs, I got one myself. Still it doesn’t make sense that you get to summon an additional (powerful) companion without any drawback.
I don’t mean to let eternal SP REGEN, just let it regen as it should with other classes/ Still SP would drop down in time but not such rapid as it is right now?

If we could regain Sp it would be really easy to out regain the 1% mana cost every 3-4 sec
It cost me around 90-110k to buy 100 lv10 Sp Potion at the market
At Dina Bee Farm i’m doing around (60k-100k) / hour
1 Potion keep my summon up for 4min 50 sec
(Depeding of the user max sp)
I use around 13-16 potion / hour
All I have to do to farm silver is Afk Summon and come back to use
a Sp Pot every 4:50sec Sorcerer ARE espacialy good at farming silver
Meanwhile you can watch video or do something else and set a timer
that gona alerte you every X amount of time.
Afk Summon is legal
As long as you don’t use a third program for Auto-Potion/botting
ME > Pyro 3 > Sorc 1 > Necro 1
But current sp regen- to be more specific- having none- does not let us to spam other rank classes skills, and correct me if I am wrong- this game is all about having fun from all your ranks classes and their skills, not only from one circle???
And dps in compare to other classes is weak, summon boss dps is weak!!!

I don’t really consider a 1,6k x 2
crit around 50% of time for 3,2k or (3,2k > 6,4k shot) in Full aoe, Weak
and my card is only lv 5 right now.
The 2 sad thing about sorcerer summon isn’t the sp cost and the 0 mana regain honestly like i said you can overcome it with sp potion yeah it cost something like many class that use item to cast their spell
What sad it the IA that could really need an upgrade

Yes I agree: AI of summons is worst among all games I played.
Temple Shooter can be trade (At lv 1) for 15-20 talt (around 75-100k) it really not much
But true maybe 50% was too much but i’m pretty sure it crit around +/- 25% of the time
