He wasn’t lying, he was only opening 100 cubes. Even the video says that. It had nothing to do with how many was actually in his inventory.
I once grinded with this guy in Ameleth Forest. He invited me to go hunting Dullahan because he need me as a Archer DPS. When i got there, he kicked me out of pt to invite a Quarrel Shooter “We need better dps”, he saids.
This thread is getting a bit repetitive.
Just to summarize:
People are getting upset at Jace: mainly because of his behavior towards other players
People are white knighting for Jace: mainly because the ToS bossing system allows elites to monopolize, so it should be alright and people shouldn’t be salty. Also that flaming a single person behind their back is not justified just because they were mean to others
People are also getting with upset with Jace: because his group and 2 other guilds hog the dullahan boss
People are also white knighting for Jace: because they’re friends with him/guildies
This is all subjective guys. No need to hate on eachother over it…

Didn’t know he was an infamous dbag kid. I did felt he was an elitist dbad during my first converse with him back then. I still remember I once requested to buy a karacha dagger recipe for a slightly lower price than the market and he agreed. He confirmed the recipe was placed in the market and I was camping for 1hr.30min through lifeless clicking on the market. I asked him to check if its still in market and was ignored until I met him at world bosses and he just played off trying to be “Not aware”. Fkd up prick with some retarded ego I must say.
Despite that, I applaud for his dedication in monopolizing the world bosses especially Dullahan 24/7 through his op geared dps party members. I do sound salty tho his achievements isn’t based on his own pure dedication but his members (example the 1 with Isability, Mana-Mana and more) lel.
Besides, the World Boss cube drop is flawed to begin with and its mentioned in another post.

I think they need to make the boss spawning times more random to stop monoploy and boost exploring more or at least fix the god dam fps drop during world boss fight.
Dullahan spawns every 2 hours at the exact same location with 2 channels which means you can get 2 cubes every 2 hours if you got a winning party. The secret to Jace getting those cubes is to find high level pure str swordsman and pure dex fletchers. He links everyone up so people can get stats like 500+ str and 300+ dex then fletches simply dps down the boss in the slide show using magic arrows.
He plays ToS like 12 hours a day and will go to Dullahan and other bosses everytime when he has the timer. I don’t think he got a static party he basically adds every high level fletcher or pure str swordsman on sight to his friend list and forms a party later. Obviously he will only take the highest level “friends” he can get and will drop you from party if your lower level than his other “friends” that suddenly logs on. He treats world bossing more like a business than having fun and yes he’s an elitist prick that will say nasty stuff about someone’s build or dps after kicking that person out of the party.

Just a correction, he once mentioned he only prefers picking Archers and Wiz any day than a Swordman. Which is true because currently pure dps build swordies are inferior to dps archer/wiz in terms of dmg output

When I was doing Dullahan with him he almost never invites Wiz maybe that had changed. Swordsman is mainly there to give str stats to the fletchers we had a good run I got a karacha dagger from the party. On another note though currently best late game items are untradable and from EARTH TOWER so try to have fun guys and don’t worry about world bosses too much unless imc decides to release better ones.
Just a quick reminder to everyone, that this is not the kind of thing people should be doing (Kicking party members to get “better dps”)
Jace aside, I just want everyone to know its not right to be class prejudice. I’m not even saying this because “I do or dont have the right to decide” this is one of things that are just morally wrong.
I could compare this to racism but its just not the same in how important it is to not be racist. (But think about it anyway)

If I want to be efficient about something then there should be no issue opting for someone who can dish out better dps or cc, depending on what the situation or scenario calls for. I’m not going to coddle and keep people around just to spare their feelings. Don’t even play the racism card for this. It’s nowhere near on the same plane.
If a specific party is formed to tackle a specific issue why is it wrong to tweak that around to get the best results as possible?

Its not problem of having such people in community. The problem is in game allowing for such domination, bad design choice in loot distribution, class balance and itemization process.

Wow didn’t expect this many people to have opinions or negative experiences with Jace.
Yeah he plays a lot of hours he really enjoys the game and is committed while I can’t play as much he has always been welcoming in my experience.
As far as party composition that is incorrect as I am a PD and as you can see in the video he has a Paladin Monk in the party which replaced me after I left which is a very suboptimal bossing build. so…
Me Jace and Steevees have kind of been a group since demon prison so to say he has no loyalty and simply drops whoever isn’t fletcher / corsair/ dopple etc isn’t true.
I am not going to argue whether he is a “good” person as I don’t know how he behaves towards other people. To make a moral judgement of goodness based on behavior in game is quite comical in my personal opinion. I can say I believe a lot of the hate is unwarranted.
In regards to the video English isn’t his first language so I believe there is a miscommunication. He was only stating how many cubes he would open not how many he had left.
As far as monopolizing the market I didn’t know I don’t boss hunt often even though I can and I have no interest in the economy beyond my own gear so I can’t really speak to that. He has Ignition and Peta and all those items but likes to farm ingredients himself for some reason so…

Yes but there is a time and place for everything. One could argue that your blanket strategy of moralizing everything is flawed as well.
Your side is just as important as ours, If he doesn’t want to be seen that way he shouldn’t act like that.
Everyone should know what makes someone feel good or not, so if what your doing you know is going to make someone feel bad… just dont do it.
It’s not a difficult judgement call. This cube moment isn’t his only moment of being mean too. I shouldn’t say its him being mean, it’s more like how he obtained it. (ditching people and grabbing others)
This is like you want a multiplayer shooter where the one who shot you, also dies because he should not dominate because he is a better player.
People who aim for this should be able to reach it.
People who don’t should not.
Do not desire to be a boss hunter as a supportive class, that’s just purely illogical.
Each class has it’s pros and cons.
Not every clas is suited for everything, that’s why there are different classes.
If you want to do different things, you have multiple character slots for this.
Start making characters for specific tasks.
That is the point to bind you to this game as long as possible.
