I really think its a problem, the sword’s AA class dont get any benefit from DEX atk spd…
well;as someone who have being using dwa for a year already; i can say that at least for me he is in fact attking faster(only a little mainly in the middle of the video; ); at least this is the impression i have (could be ping but i do not think so since i have seen many videos in the new test and also have being playing with very low ping)
Now about dex:there is no reason for dex do not influence DWA; because dwa only removes the delay between attacks and dex makes you attack faster; so there is no rule saying that it won’t work, only if dwa already gave the max aspd possible by removing the delay; something we know that is not true since we gain extra atk speed with quicken or dov right now .
i would like to keep this clear as well i have not tested the new dex in ktos but i have tested quicken/dov(the one we have in the itos right now) and those in fact helped dwa so i do not see why the dex would not work.
Now about the video i understand why you seems to believe that it does not work; there is simple not a huge upgrade in speed in that video and the reason for that after seeing many videos of aspd and so on is because i believe that DEX right now seems to be giving aspd as % not as flat value:Now why i do believe that the dex values are being done in % and not as flat value is because the multiple videos we have seen so far(check ktos thread) with archer and frenzy/quicken and so on; seems to push this way where the speed given by dex once you have use frenzy or similar skills that given flat speed value the increase in speed given by the dex after that seems to be more noticeable,at least for me.
now i would like to say again; that this my impression about the videos with the new system since it is not out for us yet i have not done any tests since there is no point for me testing aspd in the korean server with 400-500ping but once is out for us i would be doing some tests and i believe that many others here would be as well.
on a side note: if you want to test if dex really does not have any value; simple do a test, he could do 126 combo points in the 35 seconds from jolly roger; try it in our server; of course it won’t be a perfect test since you do not know his ping but it will at least be a good way to look at it; since with dwa he is doing 126/35=3,6 atks/s and she loses 3 seconds walking to the dummy as well and of course is without frenzy that at level 10 is giving the same aspd as quicken llevel 11 right now; so if you have chrono friend with quicken level 11 you can even test how many atk/s you can have in 35 seconds ^^.
There is absolutely no change there. That’s standard DWA with occasional input speed changes due to ping.
That’s really disappointing for Corsairs. I know a lot of people that were excited DWA would become the new Ragnarok Assassin aspd style gameplay. People that were coming back to the game specifically due to that.
The expectations people have are more like this comparison difference depicted in the below video (jump to 5m33s if link doesn’t take you to the right section). With this you can quite clearly see how heavily the aspd affected the Assassin class with their dual hitting Kunai weapons. People loved it and were really disappointed that it wasn’t part of ToS at launch.
I really think they should reconsider applying Aspd to DWA properly if they’ve made a decision to not include it.

That’s the least they should do. DWA is basically auto attacks “without delay” and those were supposed to be made faster with DEX.
I’m still expecting an auto dual attack as well, without us having to keep on pressing either z or c while holding the other to chain the autos.

They just implemented DEX affecting Dust Devil and Hexen Dropper
i think the barbarian buff now gives attack speed. so you might be better off getting that and not using 25 point for flags and dwa.?
Babarian’s Frenzy does give both 1,5% atk per stack as well as ATK speed according to skill level. Barb 3 Corsair 2 is likely the best combo for DWA usage right now in Ktest.
