Someone tell me why Krivis?

why many builds use krivis+druid/sadhu/bokor together? Why can’t I go with priest instead?

like cleric > priest3 > sadhu >druid > pd

Krivis really has nothing to offer beside daino, which can be bought for money. Zaibas, while good early game, becomes obsolete later on when you learn the offensive skills from higher tier classes.

Aside from early leveling the only reason I see is diano. One of the most unsatisfying classes I tested.

ikr… i dont know why people are so obsessed with it

The reason my cleric build will have Krivis is because I am half expecting Daino scrolls to be removed in a future patch.

There were rumors going around that Simony was going to be reworked, and it wouldn’t really surprise me if it was reworked considering the confusing limitations it currently has.

Assuming Daino scrolls stay (which there isn’t actually any evidence pointing towards them not, it is just my gut-feeling), you are right and taking Krivis isn’t all that important.

I hear priest can have 7 buffs in ktos, yet do you even have 7 buffs?
aspersion, monstrance. blessing, sacrament, stone skin, I count 5, and priest has most buffs. other classes only have 1 or 2. Why do you need 12 buff slots?

I am not sure which of these are rank 1 or 2 buffs, so I am not sure which apply to your limit or not, but:

Cleric 1: Safety Zone
Priest 3: Aspersion, Monstrance, Blessing, Revive, Stone Skin
Sadhu 1: Out of Body? (really not sure if that counts as a buff or not, if it is it seems more like it would be a Rank 2 buff)
Druid: shape-shifting, telepath? (again not really sure about these)
Plague Doctor: Healing Factor, Bloodletting, Beak Mask (this seems like it would be Rank 2), Fumigate

So, with your build you have 9 - 13 buffs (although some may be rank 2). You need to also take into account that when you are in a party other people’s buffs may overwrite yours. And you need to take into account that your party members may be Archer or Wizard class which will not be able to get all of the buffs you try to give them.

Because of self buffs/class buffs others have.

Basically with a Priest 5 slots are taken away, and as far as I know only Priest and Swordman have 7 buff slots.

So other classes won’t be able to use their self buffs/party buffs, because they will overwrite the Priest’s buffs, that’s when Daino comes in handy.

Of course that only applies to Rank 1 buffs, there are Rank 2 buffs which you can have as many as you want and they won’t affect the buff counter, such as Spiritual Chain from Linker.

is there a list showing the rank of buffs?

Unfortunately not anywhere in the 99% of the corners of the forums that I have looked.

One of the things I am kind of confused about is which skills fall into which buff/status ailment ranks.

Skill descriptions in the game do not list what rank the buff/status ailment is either.

If anyone finds a list, or makes a list, I would greatly appreciate a link to it.

id go for clreic>priest c3> chaplain >krivis> pd. with high SPR and CON for full support. its acctually the best suport build in my opinion

I’ve seen in a video zaibas be used for harassment in pvp, where if an enemy player is dead, they can set the zaibas above the dead player to make sure they can’t be revived.

Something to think about.

Because their chest is smiling at you, presuming it is a female Krivis. /shotdead

Don’t forget that you can cancel the buffs. Archer won’t need Aspersion for sure, and half of this buffs as well (in PvE). In PvP you can’t actually use Daino scrolls, so Krivis C1 is almost must have per team.

would it be okay to replace chaplain with krivis like this?

cleric2 > priest3 > krivis(replacing chaplain) > pd

I saw some chaplain videos and the auto attack damage isn’t that impressive.
If I don’t go chaplain I can free up many points in sacrament and aspersion for something more useful like revive/res/blessing. How is the damage comparison though? Would Zaibas make up for chaplain’s auto attack damage or not even close?

I just don’t think cleric1 will cut it since the nerf. It’s the main heal whereas mass heal is like the o shyt button.

Thats is the exactly what I am planning to do. If u are a full support u dont need the Aspergilum, because it only buffs YOUR weapon, and if u are a full sup u`re problably playing in a party and the deploy chapella isnt that great skill also…
And not mentioning that with Krivis and PD u can pvp too

Isn’t Zaibas one of the best scaling damage skill from the early classes?

yeah I kinda didn’t want to go full support. I want a little bit of damage for solo. I mean I’ll party as much as I can no doubt about it, but I also want to be able to survive on my own.

Now the only problem is which does more damage. Chaplain vs Krivis.
My bet is Chaplain will still do more damage, but how much more? If I go Krivis, I just hope cure + heal tiles + zaibas will be enough damage.

For PVP , Krivis is definitely better because I’m not going to melee people as support - that’s just dumb.

Yeah… I’m kinda torn between the two.

It deals single target damage 14 times. Damage will never compare with any AoE skill. Good only vs bosses and bosses are easy anyway.

well C2 has the aoe attribute but on c1 i can understand how bad it is on late game
