Someone please tell me how it works, about TP rewards

Hello, I would like to know what is going to happen to the market, since there are huge prizes in TP for winning guilds, is it a mistake to think this will cause inflation, making items like tokens to be found pretty cheap in the market in the future? Also, how would IMC actually sell TP?

Tokens have only gone up in price.

Well that would be a good reason to sell TP, but what I actually mean is, if so much TP is given away as prize, ins’t it unreasonable to buy it with money? It’s pretty expensive here in South America. The actual feel I want to talk about is that, why spend R$:18,xx in TP when someone can get a lot more TP from in-game features? It’s like paying $10 for 100k silver when you can just farm it, or something like this.

Also, even if the person in question for many reasons cannot win TP ingame as prize because the char is weak, don’t like GVG et cetera, the fact that someone else can do it generates inflation, and makes 100 TP for R$:18xx seems WAY more worthless than already looks to me.

Is there an obvious mistake in this reasoning that I can’t see or IMC did not consider this?

GvG prizes are split among the participants.

The first place gives the guild 6000 TP weekly, which is split among 15+ player (assuming that the server is competitive enough), which results in 200~400 TP per member.

My guess is that most of the TP earned is either stocked or spent on cosmetics + stats gachapon (cough enchant scrolls cough) which sinks TP considerably.

It’s like paying $10 for 100k silver when you can just farm it, or something like this.

Yet people still buy RMT services. Logical, right? :rolling_eyes:

I see, I tought it was 6000 TP for every member… Since when is this feature working? I mean, people receiving TP as prizes?

Yeah i know where you getting at and yes, they will most likely change it in the future. As for now, i do agree paying real money for TP is a waste since there is a good influx on Tokens going to the market.
Now, IMC rewarding players with TP is shooting themselfs in the foot regarding monetization.

They could halt all TP rewards and lower the amount of TP required for everything by half. That would be a smart move.

It has been there for quite some time, I think 4 months? I just got into this recently though.

GvG right now is in a poor state, it is fine that the rewards are in TP but the amount does not correspond to how active it is. The TP reward should scale with the amount of active gvg guilds. Apparently there’s to come a GvG revamp, let’s see how things turn out.

One thing that I’d like to see is only non-neutral guilds being able to gvg, it’s annoying to see some guilds topping while having an invulnerable shield on their favor.

Enlight me here, arent GvG points bound to win/lose daily timelocked event inside the GvG map?

If what i asked above is true, then trying to bring the fight outside of the event with no reward whatsoever seems a bit… salty? perhaps just trying some vendetta.

Edit: Perhaps your ideia is to bully guilds into removing themselfs out of GvG, so they have immunity outside of it.

Yes, the GvG points are bound to that.

And you are right, it does sound a bit salty, but I don’t mean it that way.

My idea at first is to make all guilds that want to challenge each other for TP vulnerable to war declarations, including the one I’m in. Having a recent war history in order to be elected as a participant of the GvG is something that could be explored. As I mentioned once, it’s just an idea.

Bringing activies of war would spice things up on TOS, since some people complain about how monotone it is.

I haven’t seen any case in my server since I started to care about GvG. Such action should always be penalized heavily though it has to be IMC’s job to punish them, and you as a player to report them.

Those people have the choice to get into war, now reverse it and you have people wanting to grind but cant because they are vulnerable in open maps.

I didn’t know it was 6000tp per week. That is extremely high, way way higher than it needs to be in such low populated servers.

I thought it was weird that people would spend ~8€ for a token just to sell it for ~1M silver. Now it makes sense. heh and I was happy to win 300tp with the loading screen. Oh wow.

About Silute, the guild Hydrarium has been on the top spot for quite some time, in a legit way gvg-wise, the top 4 guilds from what I’ve seen are independent.

There should be a drawback or a requirement for being able to earn a beefy amount of TP in any case. It’s either this or heavily decreasing the amount earned or making a way for the top guild not to be always on the top.

it’s 6000 split among members for the first place, the amount decreases as you fall in the ranks…though some guilds were able to maintain the 1st place for several months now…the system is quite snowballing >_>

Yeah but there are like 2 or 3 guilds tops that seem competitive and big (at least that I know of in Fedimian). Lots of people really can’t try to compete in gvg because of severe performance issues as well (literally 1-0 fps with game frozen the whole match). So I’m assuming that almost always the same people will be rotating on holding the top spot and thus safely earning 200tp a week or more.

With 6000tp a guild could agree to spend it all on gacha as soon as it releases and pretty much get all the content on the first day and just dominate the market completely.

I haven’t been playing a lot and my main is barely 210 so I can’t complain as I haven’t competed for those prizes yet, but when a month of premium token is 99tp 6000 seems to much even if split.

Right, this is one of the biggest flaws of the current GvG, as I mentioned it’s quite easy to snowball.

  • Get TP
  • Launch it in the market
  • Get silver
  • Update your character attribute and gear wise
  • Win more GvGs due to that advantage

rinse and repeat.
