I would go and look up all the different suggestions but its kinda hard to really go though most of it to see if things are suggested or not. But I have a few things that I think would make a huge difference. Since I’ve come from RO and many other mmorpg’s one of the biggest things ive noticed is lack of monster spawns what I mean by this is in RO you could easily pull together mass numbers of high respawning mobs. Some area’s in the game thus far really are lacking spawns that and the lack of channels at higher levels make it really difficult to complete some of the quests. Which makes people set up macro’s that just sit and spam buttons for hours (which really also ruins it for people too). Right now it’s not super important to have multi channels because its beta but this really needs to be addressed in the future with either faster spawns or more channels. Because if the game releases as is there’s no way people will be able to progress though certain area’s. Another option which could resolve some of the quest problems is set up the quest looting to work for anyone who “tags” the mobs any person who damages it gets mob quest loot. I notice right now its working more as who hits it first gets it.
Something else I’ve also noticed that’s really lacking is that of chests so you go though the first few maps and finding chests doesn’t seem to be too difficult but after I found a level 2 chest its like chests don’t exist in higher level maps this could be the result of over populated channels but the problem is for classes like cosair who has a chest key skill if there’s no chests it kinda defeats the purpose. So it would be nice to see more of these even if they didn’t always contain the most amazing items. Included in that would be nice to also see chests rather then just open to some treasure also open to rare bosses and such too because that just adds to the effect of awesome.
Drop rate gotta bring this up because some maps / monsters that you go through have such bad drop rates that you can’t get anything whether its crafting items or gear ect. RO was grindy and all and didn’t offer a lot of quest gear from npc’s but you could usually find gear if you farmed. Some area’s feel like its more a waste of time to even kill the mobs. Now I’m not sure if its related to way the loot system works in the game. Correct me if i’m wrong but the system the game is using is more like when mobs are your level and under you get more drops then if the mob is over your level (feels like this for exp as well) If that’s actually the case which is the way i’ve been going about things some of the loot tables for mobs need to be adjusted. Also some mobs area’s aren’t dropping the correct level loot example: killing mobs in a lvl 60 area some times drop gear that is level 15. That seems more like it could be a bug or something.
It would also be nice to see more cards dropping aside from just the bosses cards from mobs would be nice to see as well just from the normal mobs because you only have so many bosses to go though and many of them are one time story quest ones.
Something that worries me a little as well is whether there will be enough content cause quests do seem to have gaps that inbetween certain area’s you need to do a fair amount of grinding to get to a point that stories pick up again. Not sure if its intended to be that way. But would be nice to see more quests or just rare bosses and things to get you out looking in maps for things. I know the game isn’t RO but one of the best features of it was MVP’s and the fact that they would wander around the map and didn’t come up in the same spot everytime. It would be nice to see rare bosses that do some roaming around each maps something to make people have a reason to go back though low level area’s. Cause as it stands you run though maps once and then thats about it you don’t have much reason to go back to them. I’m sure when the game comes out more content will go with it but I’m putting the suggestion in because just wanna stress the point.
I’m sure your going to create raid content eventually too it would be nice to actually see some multi floor gauntlet type dungeons / raids as well. What I’m talking about would be something similar to endless tower in RO something that would be like you get one chance to clear x amount of floors you’d get exp and item drops and a reward at the end if you cleared it all. Stuff like that to keep the player base engaged. Seeing some more dungeons at different level brackets as well would be good kinda feels like your first real dungeon is around 40 or so and after that its 90 and so on. Can’t stress about content being so important. If you want to appeal to the largest player base you need to be able to compete and content is a great way to do that.
Potions and such so I’m around level 85 and what ive noticed which kind of makes the game a little on the difficult side is lack of potions yeah i know we can buy two types from the first city and i’m sure theres gotta be other cities that also have potions as well. And maybe top tier people that go with alchemist can craft potions not exactly sure but even if they can. You need potions whether they drop from mobs or what not if your trying to make the game nice and user friendly for everyone would be ideal to provide some kind of drop. I know some monsters currently drop items that can restore hp in very small amounts but the cooldown on many of these items is like 10 seconds on a restore item that heals 80-100 hp which is like nothing. I’m stacking con and I have like 14k hp right now and the only effective way to heal myself is camping next to a fire and waiting for restore. Mobs dropping healing items is almost non existant I only found one mob that dropped a healing item which actually healed something like 100-2k hp but the drop rate was so low couldn’t even effectively farm said mob for the item.
