Hey I’m really excited to see this game becoming reality, really looking forward to this game releasing so I can start leveling Wizard.
I was just thinking about some issues in this game that I’m still confused about:
#1 If you are say Wizard rank 1 and go Pyromancy(since it’s only available in rank 2), you can only put 2 ranks into Pyromancy if you want to go elementalist.
So this means I cannot get maximum level in Enchant Fire(supposedly increases fire damage of spells? correct me if I’m wrong), since I can only get to level it to level 10.
Just seems a bit stupid system which forces me to put extra points to max out something, but I lose chances to use the next upgrade in return.
I was just thinking why not make it available rank 1, put 15 points into anything, all skills levelable to 15, and rank 2 would just allow more powerful magics to be leveled, like faster casting and so on.
#2 So maximum level is 100? But what about maximum stats?
Can you go over 100 in stats and how much you gain statpoints to levelup per level? Is it worth maxing out 1 single stat, say intelligence if you want to go raid spec fire mage? (something like this http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/gbyn46479s/)
#3 Respeccing doesn’t seem to be option?
So if I want to have PvP spec I have to roll and level other Wizard am I right?
Or if I want to make healer to max level I pretty much have to raid from level 1 to level 100 since I wont be getting a lot of damaging abilities or stats.
#4 Can classes like chronomancer rewind boss to drop loot twice? I saw Oracle was able to put death timer on enemy, this usable on bosses too?
#5 In general I’m not huge fan of putting multiple points into leveling up single talent
Any plans to maybe rework this idea a bit so you’d have only 3 points to spend every 5 levels? Sure you might want to have 1 point in all situational skills like revive or something like that, or abilities that start strong even with just 1 point, ie Chronomancer rewind time.
#6 The most important… the LOOKS
So if you want to pyromancer 3 ranks your only choice is to be Chronomancer or Alchemist, I guess. Anyway, does this mean the final class upgrade you choose will always be the one that defines your looks? Or are you maybe able to keep the looks of previous class if you so choose? Any plans for that?
