Some questions/help on my Chaplain build

Hey guys this is my take on a Chaplain build:

The reasons for low blessing and sacrament is mainly because blessing dmg gets useless end game and sac is more for the extra attack rather then the dmg. Bless 3 so i can pump the attribute for it (mainly for low lvl leveling) and Sac 2 for the nice 4 min duration.

Aspersion almost max because this will be the grunt of our dmg when we reach chaplain. My build focus is more on support and i feel that a 5 sec immune from Revive is more then enough. Mass heal lvl 10 (the support story) and ofcourse stone skin lvl 5.

Chaplain skills pretty standard dont need much explaining there.

Now my big question, since i wanna focus abit more on support i feel i Need to have cleric 2 for the xtra blocks on safety zone and most importantly the extra heal tiles it gives. Sooooooo druid 1 looks super cool super fun and i know Carnivory to be an insane dmg skill, my question is if its viable to go cleric 2 and then druid 1. I dont mind going Plague doctor (insane support if you ask me) but i rly want druid if it doesnt gimp me to much, so maybe when rank 8 and up comes out i can grab druid 2.

So fire away guys!

P.S Im almost to Chaplain does anyone know where i start the quest to obtain the class? Thanx guys!

I will say it again here: Sacrificing skillpoints in blessing and sacrament is not good. You are squeezing everything you can to get it by other means e.g. arde, enchants etc but when all of that is used up there is no way to increase that damage anymore other than skilling it up.

It doesn’t scale with anything beside element property attack, which isn’t limitless.

That is already true for solo play, but you put one on top and say you want to support. Well lets see your party members might hit 30 times and also have cafrisun (if they’re good) and of course your sacrament up. Now deduct the difference in damage dealt for 5 ppl all dealing “a bit less”

I understand your sentiment and i agree to a certain point.

I believe that Chaplain can be build 2 ways, more focus on support through good healing (Heal 10 and Mass heal 10) and decent party buffs (Bless 3 Sac 1 might not be as great as maxed out but still very decent to have) OR Great party buffs (with Bless and Sac maxed out) and decent healing (Heal 5 and maybe Mass heal down to 5 as well).

My main concern here is more if Cleric 2 Druid 1 is good. If i want to go for the before mentioned healing support i would pick Cleric 2 and Plague Doctor (Healing factor and removing/immunity againt status ailments). If i were to build the more offensive version with maxed Bless and Sac i would go Druid 2 to compliment the dmg output. Im trying to find a middle way here which might not exist thats why im asking here ^^

But like i said before i understand what you mean and i agree with you that in a 5 man group that is alot of missed dmg.
I would like to hear your insight about being a more supportive Chaplain if that is at all possible and if not then maybe i should just go druid 2?

Tbh, blessing 3 with high attribute does just fine, I’m going at +100 damage which is all you need before it falls off later.

Sacrament however I would suggest keeping at 5 or maxing, because it does scale with last rites. There’s a thread where someone compared last rites with multiple sacrament levels, and it is pretty noticeable.

Personally if you want to roll Cleric 2 and C6 i’d pick a different class than druid for C7 unless you dig what druid does while still having Cleric 2 support. Druid really wants a high level carnivory for massive damage.
