Some problem with attack speed

Hello, first off all, sorry for the long text that I will post here, it’s just that I don’t know what to do anymore and I will try to explain the problem in the best words possible.

The problem with attack speed is just with one skill, “Double Punch” of Monk class.

I play ToS with my boyfriend and he is the person with this problem, he just don’t use forums, so I will post this here for him.

His main character is a DEX Monk, and so, his main skill is Double Punch, but now he is having some problem in his computer that the attack speed for Double Punch isn’t working at all. We thought this could be some bug from last maint, but we tried at my computer and it’s working fine.

In his computer the character attacks fast with normal attacks, but it’s like Double Punch is ignoring his attack speed.

He has 500+ DEX and his ping in game is between 0.02 and 0.05, there is no way it’s a ping problem, because it used to work normally.

He already tried used “verify integrity of game files” and hasn’t worked, he also unninstalled and made a fresh install and also hasn’t worked.

It happened right after he formatted his computer and changed from Windows 10 to Windows 7, if it is related in any way, how can we solve this?

I wanted to try to ask here before formatting back to Windows 10 because it’s so much trouble and just because ONLY the attack speed for one skill isn’t working.
Being his main char it’s disappointing to continue to play like this or not play with his fav character.

Again, sorry for giant text, I appreciate any info to help on this trouble, feel free to correct me as english is not my main language.

that’s super weird. by fresh install, you mean redownloading tos and not using a backup? ‘w’?

Yes, deleted and cleaned everything about ToS and downloaded all again from Steam

have you tried using different controllers? what’s your bf’s controller difference with yours? i heard using mouse has a huge difference in atkspeed when compared to keyboard. though with that said i was wondering if there are incompatibilities with the controllers when reverting back to win7

Could you post a video of it and show the DEX investment in the stat window?

Are you using Mouse Mode?

Do you have any addons running?

What frame rate are you getting?

Yup, I have a video I recorded when I tried sending a ticket

In the video, I’m using keyboard mode, but the same happens in joystick, but I haven’t tried at mouse mode.

If the video is too long, jump at 1:30, where I start punching with 511 DEX

Yup, I had some addons at time I took this record, but it used to work before even with those addons, and now it’s like this even without any addon

FPS is always between 49 and 53

That looks like it might be ping related, it spiked from 3ms to 200ms which means you’ll definitely begin feeling the impact. The last ping test performed showed 0.238.

Double check internet connection and stability, compare both computers to see if it’s just that client with the problems or if there is something else wrong.

I have not noticed that huge spike at last test, but usually his connection is better than mine, even so feels weird

But I will double check with him today and I will post here if I find anything
