Some general questions about ToS

Hello, everyone. I’m here today to get some questions out of my mind. So, let’s go.

Q1 - Is it normal that, after a certain level, every monster around my level (+/- 5 lv) that I kill gives only 0.03%~0.1% exp (around 5k p/k; 9,993,504 needed for lv 230)? Does this exp rate get any better at some point? I see videos of characters lv 270~330 grinding and after every kill it’s visible the increase in the exp bar, something around 10% after 5 min of uncut gameplay.

Q2 - What are the differences between the two companions buyable with silver? Is the cheapest one weaker in terms of brute stats?

Q3 - Warlock’s Drain still bugged? What exacly is this bug?

Q4 - Featherfoot’s synergies and main role?

Q5 - Invocation’s hit count and damage is dependant on Dark Theurge’s skill level?

Q6 - Mastema’s DoT attribute damage increases with skill level or only with attribute level?

Q7 - Why the h*ll are R7/8 attributes so expensive?

Q8 - After the combat system changes, what R2-4 are going to be good with Monk3? Is it still Priest3?

I think it’s all for now. Thank you in advance and sorry for my english. Love you all.

In ToS, we have some EXP “Walls” at certain levels.
After a certain level, these walls reset to lower exp and you will see a fast progression till the next wall.

The levels as far I remember are: 46, 86, 136, 186, 236, 281.

I’m not so sure about that one, I know you can increase their stats with silver tho, but in all honesty, for Hunter/Falconer at least, I’m not sure if it’s worth, as for Cata, it should be, at least in HP stats.

Some people call it silver sink methods, but for me it’s simple BS.
In anyway, the game still being developed, so many of these areas still need polishing, so for now, we have to deal with it.

As long as it’s not caster or INT dependent classes I think any will be good, it depend on how you can use them, I might make a Bokor Monk just for the fun of it.

Sorry If I haven’t answered the questions about WL and FF, since I never played any of the classes yet, I can’t answer those.

I personally cant find a “main role” for this class. It is a good farmer with linker and the only wizard class that can live against inquisitor in pvp.

No, it depends on its own lvl. But the damage and the hit count of a single ball is exactly same as dark theurge, but it does not have %damage ench attribute.

Skill lvl. One level in the attribute is enough.

if u a companion class (sr/hakka/cata) jz use penguin , it give more hp
if u whatever beside those, use whatever u like.

yes silver sink. still fine till r7, but the scaling to r8 or even future r10 jz show how retarded the develop team is.

Featherfoot operates as a solo dps/self sustain. This class, by its self, can be built tanky because it has 2 healing abilities.
The skills will, of course, synergize with linker, so most FFs have Linker (and today, most FFs also have wizard c3, because if you’re going wizard c2 for surespell, you’re going wizard c3).

Bloodbath’s DoT damage will travel through link, even if the linked enemies are not insect/beast/demon type. Just make sure the enemy you hit is that type.

Bloodsucking is a small cone aoe that functions as a DoT to the first enemies you hit as long as you continue channeling. Needs Surespell. You may also want 5-15 level reflect shield for knockback invulnerability. Does not damage other enemies that step in front of you after you start channeling.

All other spells are w/e. These 2 moves are your dps bread and butter. FF c2 is underwhelming. Hopefully FF c3 is kickass.

FF c1 is probably fine if you wanted it for self sustain for your Linker c1 - c3 support.

I already know about the exp walls and resets. The problem is that monster kills give little experience and I was wondering if it gets better at some point, because I’m sick of getting only 3~5k exp per kill when I need 10kk to level up.

Also, I want to thank everyone for the answers. I appreciate it.

Alone is not really much exp, but in party you will receive 20% extra EXP for each member, so full party is recommended to go grinding, which is why you find lots for Alemeth and Maven.

Other than that only missions and dungeons, but with the current amount of quests + exploration + monster kill count, you should have enough EXP cards to save to break through these walls.

This game is not really only grinding friendly, at least not for now, not sure later on.

To go along with this, if you take advantage of the all the alternate maps, at and below your level, you should have no problems with the XP walls. Also be mindful to not eat at any of your XP cards if you’re already over the recommended level for your map or any maps you haven’t cleared at lower levels.

This should give you the smoothing leveling experience. Also… if you see anybody /shouting “X dungeon X/X, have instant clears” you should be dogpiling into that dungeon for free XP. And don’t feel bad about dogpiling, when they shouted, they invited you. I know I hate waiting around for people so I can use my instant clears.

The skill isnt’ bugged. It just sucks xD
Level 5 increase your attack damage by 50-100 dark element damage. You waste 5 sphere to deal 50 damage. LOL.
Don’t know if IMC missscript it or it’s bugged but they NEVER tried or NOTED them in the “know issues”

I even reported that but i never had an official answer. I guess people should report it alot to hrab attention.
It would be a nice skill

About Warlock’s skills again, does Sabbath uses only DT’s spirits or it also uses invocation’s spirits? If the latter, then it is a nice 1 point spell.

i can sadly answer you.
Every Spirits follow you. From the theruge and invocation and all the other Warlock invocation too.

But only 5 seconds and a long cooldown.

Also the skill is miss-scripted. What Exactly happens when you do it?

  1. You use Sabbat
  2. You have to hold the Sabbat button and the skill goes for 5 seconds
  3. the first ever created sphere in the map start to follow you, even if it is far away from you.
  4. the second ever created sphere start follow the first one
  5. the Fourth one goes following the third.
  6. as result you saw sphere going AWAY from you somewhere in the map forming a weird line.

They will never follow you unless there are only few spheres or you got only the DT up , but in this case there is no meaning on using sabbat: just jump on enemies with DT up , lol

Some maps are designed for grinding better than other maps.

Truffles. Storage. Etc. You will see people making parties for some of these maps dependent on the activity level of the server you play.

regarding exp, depending on your teammates, team level and knowlege of the game you can easly make a level 300 in few days.
But i got 55 right now xD
