Okay - here is the update about barb 3 testing. Cyclone has 24 hits (made a video and counted per frame)
% Damage per minute for cyclone IF you will roll all 11 second on 1 target.
% on skill number of hit and cooldown
%damage per minute for Zornhau
%damage per minute for Zucken + some damage if hit after zornhau
% damage for redel
So if we gonna dps - we will need only 1 lvl cyclone.
Why? because for current weak monster cleaning that is enough.
As for damaging the boss - we will take sw - hl - barb 3 - doppel 3.
The combo will look like ( above - skill cleave and zwerchhau debuff time )

PB----Cleave - Zwerchhau - warcry - zornhau - zucken - redel - and then either spam seism+sturtzhau + cyclone or use cyclone 2 times, Then your buff goes down and you have to wait for warcry cd and during CD we can use cleave - zornhau - seism as fillers.
As for cyclone - it can do 6096% per 5.5 second. BUT that is only 1108% per second and if you are interrupted - you will lose part of your damage.
That is like 4 times lower that zornhau, 2 times lower that zucken and redel, and 60% lower that stirtzhau.
And our task it to shove maximum amount of % in the minimum time of debuff.
Let us say we have warcry and zwerchhau on cd ( we will see that alot, lol ) We have option of using cleave + cyclone or cleave + zornhau+zucken+2seism and leave last cleave for warcry combo. And zornhau+zucken+2seism will do like 3 times more damage than 1 cyclone.
Just wanted to point out Seism is technically 9984% DPM. Wild Nature increases damage of all barb skills by x1.3, on top of Seismâs change to 5 hits.
As for Giant Swing being mentioned in here too, that gains x1.6 from wild instead of x1.3. So thatâs uhâŚ5k% or something?
Per hit. Granted the hitbox is absolutely trash and youâre only reliably going to hit anything with the throw part, and you canât use it on bosses without a pyro (fireball) or cryo (snow rolling) buddy. But still, thatâs potentially 50k%. Too bad itâs so horribly inconsistent to use.

Iâll provide my 2 cents on Doppel after some testing:
My preferred build is Sword 3 > Barb 1 > Corsair 1 > Doppel 3
Reason:
- Pain Barrier - how do people play without thisâŚthose knockdowns kill your rotation and your overall dps
- Restrain 10 - saves a bit of potions in the long run when grinding as you can take a lot less damage when you stun enemies
- Gung Ho - Every little bit of attack boost helps
- Corsair 1 is just for the pillage effect
Now for Doppel 3 skills:
- Cyclone 15 - actually weaker than some skills like Zornhau, and thatâs after the full 5.5 sec spin (Zornhau takes like 1 sec). However the AOE is big so Iâd still grab it.
- Zornhau - probably the best damage out of all doppel skills. Definitely max it.
- Redel - also good damage, Iâd max this too.
- Zucken - the worst out of Doppel c2 skills, even after applying shock to the enemy. I reskilled to remove this.
- Zwerchhau - damage is bad, only used to apply the slash debuff. 1 point is enough.
- Sturtzhau - good damage as well and very good AOE attack ratio. The defense ignore is also a bonus but itâs already decent enough without it. 5 points only, Iâd max this too.
- Punish - With attribute, this acts like a mini taunt to grab nearby monsters due to its range. 1 point is enough.
- DoV - havenât tried it but judging from the numbers itâs crap compared to before the rebalance. I definitely donât think itâs worth it, considering how valuable skill points are already for this class.
Overall play experience:
Very good damage and burst, however youâll be chugging potions like a drug addict = costly to play, unless you want to bonfire a lot. One full rotation of all skills and youâre left with close to half SP left. Get a decent weapon for this class to save SP in the long run, 2H weapons make even more difference than 1H weapons after upgrading/transcending.
I also played Sword 3 > Highlander 3 > Barb 1 > Shinobi. While Shinobiâs burst might be slightly stronger with clones, the cooldown of clones make their DPS fall behind Doppels in a prolonged fight. Highlanderâs skyliner is good but it canât win against the entire Doppel skill rotation and Vertical slash takes too much setting up to do decent damage (applying all those debuffs)
Corsairs cannot match Doppelâs damage due to being locked into a 1H weapon. Plus, all of Doppelâs main damage skills are slash attacks and can all be boosted by Cleave, whereas Corsairâs attacks are all different types. Dust devil is slash, Hexen Dropper is pierce and Pistol Shot is missile.
Iâve yet to try Fencer and Murmillo. I donât think Murmillo can beat the above due to the 1H weapon restriction and the Rodelero nerfs, also it lacks AOE attack ratio. Havenât tried Fencer though, too expensive to try because you need a good rapier (2 rapiers even, considering the crappy durability) + AOE attack ratio gear to grind decently with it.
seism is 3 hits, my previous calculation is a bit wrong, but we still need to fill rotation, and it is better than other skills.
5 hits.
Donât forget Wild Natureâs effect on it.
3 hits normally, 5 hits with 5 wild stacks.
ic. but thing is - Double slash still does more damage 8( almost 100% crits
Anyway - for now my top is
1 - sword 3 hl 1 barb 1 doppel 3 - versality PB with 5 sec downtime, double slash as filler and extra dps from cons and gungho
2 - sword 1 barb 3 hl1 doppel 3 - long debuff, simple and hard hitting combo.
3 - sword 1 hl 3 barb1 doppel 3 - hl has his own synergy and combos with oh5 fillers, but zornhau zucken redel on def0 debuff might do more damage than in barbs combos - that might be good for fulldex build and good critchance gear.
Is double slash really ok with no bleeding effect? or is there a bleeding effect that I am not seeing here?
Sword 2 barb 3 dop 3 is not a good build? What is so essential about Highlander 1 in this build?

Barb3 is for crit builds with the wild attribute.
I guess i test Sw3 barb2 doppel 3 next.

I tried and I liked sword 3 high 1 barb1 doppel 3 as well, but I did not have enough points to gungho and concentrate.
Gung ho 15, pain barrier 15, restrain 10, bash 3 and double slash 2. And have already been all points unfortunately.
yeah. hits hard, almost 100% crits.
+50% crit attack when using greatswords. But i am starting to doubt that myself.
it looks like crit attack grants you liar growth. and boosting it w/o any dex and must-have green gems is not the perfect choise.

1 - hl has his very own synergy. your doppel does not need hl skills and hl skills are fine w/o doppel
2 - no doppel skills benefiet from dex.
3 - if you can choose between dex or str - always take str. Because of accuracy.
Fulldex swordman on sissels ? will it hit anything anyway?
DEx gives you way more atack then Str.
IF your critrate is good Dex>Str.
Get some str for hit and your be fine.
You get way more Crit atk then atk from str.
And the Hl attribute give you 50% more.
Barb 3 for the Wild attribute +100 crit with cleave.
Im Sw3>hl>barb>Doppel3 but i go for Crit leather/Green gems/Sissel too.
What build should be better for boss and ET?
SW - HL 3 - Barb - Doppel or SW3 - HL - Barb - Doppel 3?
I was thinking on peltasta instead barb or high in second build.
What you guys thought about SW3-B2-D3?
I think SW2-Barb2-Dopp3 would be better.
Barb2 is kinda half-assed since Frenzy and Warcry only get really good with Barb 3, not to mention the Wild Nature Duration attribute that you get at Barb3.
I dont like Warcry/Frenzy that much.
For Frenzy you have to stack autoatacks.
For warcry you need many enemys around you âŚ
Then you have DoV maybe concentrate/Gungho/PB/restrain.
Thats just to much buffs.
Wild attribute and seism are good i guess.
But i prefer Sw3 anyway.
