Some classes thats needs to be ballanced

Just checked athletics records table briefly. Men are faster and stronger.

Nature may be really sexist sometimes.

Lol yeah… I want to see you running up 7 floors with more then 30kg of equipment on your back faster then some of the female firefighter I worked with.
Cause be sure they would kick your ass, chew on it and spit it out without even slowing down their pace.

I see. Next time you will probably suggest to run faster than a female runner or lift more weight than a female powerlifter.

Male firefighter > Female firefighter > Avg. man > Avg. woman

Is there such thing as fair competition?

Even then there are women that are better then male firefighter and the other way around, I’m not a feminist in anyway but I hate if people put out generalized bullshit, like no women could ever beat a men i a fair competition because males are just stronger and faster.

And for fuckssake this thread was about imbalanced classes, I really dont see how this went to a gender equality discussion. Especialy due to the fact that a lot of (maybe most) males play female characters.

So yeah back to the topic I think there are about 4 classes that need seriously some balancing the rest is fine, no one need a eierlegende wollmilchsau.

Of course. But still:
avg. firefighter(M) > avg. firefigher(F)

Balls power ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

U realize that a fair competition would demand 2 people with the exact same skillset and bodyfeatures so yeah still keeping that one

And yeah… go balls, best place to take any men down though

Indeed.

Any fair physical competition between equally prepared man and woman if unfair. Because men are stronger.

The Olympics should be really unfair then. Oh wait, they divided men and women because women are weaker.

Will they lower standards in the name of gender equality? Does bullets differentiate the gender of their targets?

Physical competition -> Quote about bullets.

you know, there are military jobs that are “officially” gender restricted, but during the war they will take in women anyways. there have been female soldiers who could handle the heavy lifting needed for some male-only soldier jobs and did it well.

my opinion on all this is that women mostly just like to keep their figure even when they want to be fit. men don’t care about maintaining a figure as long as they get more muscle.

and yes, most female characters are actually men. quite a few male characters are actually women. i actually found it funny that a couple in a former mmo i played were both playing characters of the opposite gender (i think they even roleplayed like that for the laughs and giggles). fantasy is all about being someone else.

but really guys/gals, this is sooooo off-topic

I did it for pantsu!

O’rly?

These are the changes that I would like to see, if you disagree please just don’t take them seriously and let me dream, but let me know why if you have anything to add!

Clerics

Paladin’s Restoration skill now works similar to the Aukuras skill from Krivis, your character is now a moving totem that reduces the hp recovery interval of every member of your party nearby. The flat hp regen increase can stay, it’s just a flat number and will be irrelevant regardless on higher levels, but will be a very welcome help in the earlier levels and in grind parties because it doesn’t takes a buff slot. An expensive and toggle-able attribute would allow you to have half of the value of the recovery interval decrease also applied to your sp.

Since Aukuras is a stationary torch, it improves your allies hp regen by % value. Somewhat high enough to be relevant and of its own importance, but not high enough to be broken, some tests would be necessary. And the property of increasing every heal in the game like the Restoration skill would also apply to it. It’s a stationary torch so even if it’s strong, its use is limited already.

An attribute to Paladin’s Barrier would allow it to increase the mdef of all members of the party inside it by 50%, not only flat value, and increase the power of the already existing attribute that deals holy damage by x2 and allow it to hit three times. These numbers seems big, but trust me, the barrier damage was my biggest disappointment. Even with that increase I don’t believe that it would be a reliable DPS source for higher level content.

As already mentioned before in this thread, remove the hit count limit from Blessing. Considering what I wrote about Thauma’s buffs below, for Blessing to not fall behind, make it so not only it scales with SPR and INT, it also scales with the level of the Priest’s who gave the buff, but in a % value.

Wizards

Thaumaturge’s buffs will also be applied to additional auto-attack lines. For Swell Left and Right Arms, remove the attribute that increase atk/matk by a flat value and change it for a minor % value. For Swell Brain, make it like Quick Cast attribute: % matk for your party, it just needs to be a inferior value than Quick Cast itself since your entire party will benefit from it.

Increase the buff range of some skills (from my experience, Enchant Fire and Swell Left Arm are really difficult to use on others compared to Quicken, people need to stop and stay still just to get buffed) and make some configuration toggle-able to enable/disable sharing the buff with your party, this way you can buff your friends and avoid removing theirs buffs accidentally.

Maybe an even weaker, lesser version of the scaling that Blessing gets from stats could also be applied to Thauma’s buffs, but taking into account INT and CON instead.

An attribute for Quicken would give a medium amount of magic amplification.

Pyro’s Flamethrower would have a 30%~50% chance to inflict burn per hit, hell I can’t believe it still doesn’t have this, this seemed so obvious. There is a very weak and low level staff that does this, but only 20% chance and doesn’t allow you to use subweapons. Meh.

Haha that’s a pretty cool gif

You forgot pardoner in the sh1tlist D:
