I have no idea how this is done, but lately some Gold Spammers manage to “spam” with a time stamp ahead of my local time.
Lets say, they shout as if it were at 3:51 PM while it is still 3PM for me.
So their chat message keeps stuck in my window for a much longer time.
Or you know… either one of you is lagging behind. This happens to me too especially when doing a timer thing for example the Legwyn mansion. And yeah… the message being stuck bug is annoying.
Maybe the game takes the time based on the other player’s time zone?
If so, the botter’s clock is delayed 9 minutes.
Nope. I’ve tested this, and changing my clock before sending the message won’t break anything for the other players, it doesn’t matter if I change the clock before or after opening the game, we get normal behavior.
I also have no idea how this is done, but it’s really annoying. Also, since it happened again while I was posting this, I took a screenshot:
Take a look at the server time and the last shout message time, the message stays there ahead of all new ones until the server catch up with it or someone sends a new one even further into the future.
