[SOLVED] Need help with controller mixed keybinds

I’ve been using my newly bought xbox360 wired controller for about 2-3 days with no problem until i disconnected the controller while playing, came back to the computer plugged it back in, then the game crashed (unrelated) started the game back up and now l2 and r2 are not working select and start are working in their place respectively A functions as attack instead of jump B functions as jump instead of talk X is functioning as talk instead of attack so i guess that leaves Y doing what its supposed to be doing. joystick clicks aren’t working for weapon swap / auto-lock target either.

All i know to do for trouble shooting this is turn it on and off again and plug/re-plug the controller and it isn’t working so I’m asking you guys

TLDR Controller keybinds aren’t what they should be re-plugging and re launching the game doesn’t fix this issue

Edit: I’ve checked the controller with other games and it works as intended.

Bump really need help with this one guys, installing the game again to see if the problems go away

This happened to me. Close game. Unplug controller, plug it back in. Reopen game. Oh, i noticed you already tried that. idk then, it worked for me and one other person.

I’ve tried that, but I’ll try it again after reinstall is done, at 91% rite now.
You’re probably rite but i was desperate for a quick answer.

Reinstalling the game didn’t even fix the problem! (I’ve also tried reinstalling 360 drivers)

can be fixed with a simple restart of the pc
