Am i able to use all my other spells while impaling someone?
Or am “disabled” while holding someone?
You can see in the video that the stance is actually different, I think that while you’ve got an impaled mob, it counts as if you’re channeling the ability.
I don’t think they’d let you cast other skills.
Just my wild guess.

Also, if I may add, Impaler is like a status effect where the target has impaled status and you have the impaling status too (iirc)
Even if you get stunned/slept/knocked away by something, you will not drop the object you are impaling. It will only drop after the impaled status of the target expires.
P.S. Impaler can be resisted so watch out

I saw a similar vídeo, i can’t find it now, but i saw someone using that hoplite spell whete he stabs numerous times…
That’s actually what caused my doubts, maybe some skills works and some don’t?
Maybe it’s related to skills not being able to be used while mounted, wich would mean that now you could use any skill while impaling…?
That is very old and it got fixed, of course.
So, you played Cataphract and are 100% sure you can’t cast any spells? ;(
I’m asking because i’m always asked to make builds for my friends, so i need to be 100% sure, then i don’t give a non-working build to them ><
In my opinion, it was never intended to work like that, it would be way too strong.
It was already fixed during iCBT2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWaEWpKkBrc. That is how it looks like, every skill but Impale gets locked when you are under the effect of Impale.
And I can confirm this because I also used the Cataphract skills too.
