Solution To The Class Reset Problem? :->

Suggestion: How about a reset that reset your Character level and Class level then reset the achievements. You still have your item tho. XD

lol what if you had the option to completely reset your character level but keep your class level? Lvl 1 dropping meteors

That’s true actually. I bet the biggest reason IMC doesn’t want to deal with giving class resets is because it’s going to be pretty difficult on their end to remove all possible ways to exploit this system.

And this game is just teeming with people waiting to get their hands on a new exploit lol.

There should be a class reset after r10 classes are introduced. Otherwise in the end everyone gonna reroll for wiz3 ele 3 and that is it.

By that time wiz3ele3 might not even be the meta go to dps build.

I wouldn’t reroll my wiz for wiz 3 ele 3.

Because its… already there :sunglasses:

But I actually decided to go that way when I first started the game without knowing that was the meta. Its just such an obvious choice when looking at all the classes lol. It wasn’t until I was like lvl 80 that my friend started telling me how popular it was.

Chaplain would count as priest circle 4 I assume, so you would have to remove that first.

As for costumes, I imagine adding a simple equipment requirement to costumes would fix that pretty easily. Right now they’re cosmetics that you can only obtain by being a class. If you change them to also only be equipplable by that class/circle, problem solved. Same mechanic is already on weapons.

wiz 3 is a must for dps just like peltesta c1 is for provoking.

its not for you the answer

Well, I have DOUBTS, but FOR NOW, I’m against Class Reset for the reasons:

Some players took really a good time to see the right build. Some people even had to start all over again, losing hundreds of hours to make the right build, so I think it is unfair to those players, but as I told, I dont know if those players want to the future in case that happen again.

My principal motive is: players will just copy other player build everytime they see something better, while this other player had to risk yourself on the build first.

I’m about to create another character to make another swordsman and make all over again. If class reset was enabled I could just change it. So, I feel the pain too for not have it.

If someone work and study, or just have a few time to play, this can be much better, so I know the other side of this coin.
IF they do class reset, they need to put it at a high value, just as 250 TP for example, to make people not abuse it. Why I’m telling that? Because players make characters only based on high DPS and not because the style. Them, everytime a nerf occour, this players will just change it or just copy other player build, that took the risk first.

Useless comments as ever. Never look this type of comments, they give you nothing than a annoying spam of people that want attention. If they dont like it, they should just leave instead want some attention.

To avoid people abusing class-reset its simple: you don’t need to put it 250TP, you just need to limit it to one single use per character.

And the reset-rank-potion should reset only 1 rank (even better if this single rank is limited to be only from lower ranks where people commit most fails at classes choices), it is supposed to fix small errors, it should not allow people to change an entire build.

If those both things be done, i think the ToS community can see RankReset with other view

well said. This is fully within the realm of my opinion. As kaza said, it would not be very fair to let future players reset easily when past players had to completely restart. That same standard cant always hold true or else games would never evolve over time, but for the most part I think mistakes should be a very big deal in this game.

But to never forgive ANY class mistakes just seems a bit harsh. No one should be able to wake up one day and say ā€œeven though I’m a full STR monk, I think I’m going to switch to a full SPR supportā€. But being able to go back and change one circle seems reasonable. Maybe for 20-25 USD, after hundreds of levels and hours of game play. Or at the very least after a huge class update, although that kind of feels like a separate issue.

Fixed it for you.
