Is it worth to buy/craft solmiki gear these days? With all the new equipment from hg and so on…

Imo ET now is only a content filler, the gear is easily substituted by the Raid gear.
And some gear you identify can prove be better than the ET gear, or at least provide more useful stats for your build than ET ones.

7 set Leather is still way too good.

solmiki have more def than 350 gear, even old 315 hg gear have more def than raid gear xD
Solmiki sets still gives better crit rate, raw attack bonus, and/or defense. But HG set have higher potential for block, evasion, accuracy and/or block penetration; e.g for block alone can roll 40+ CON and 60+ block stat stat per item.

I think it isn’t worth if you’re going to start now, because it takes many weeks or a few months to finish your armor+accessory set. Well, unless you wanna get into PvP (minigames). High def is always important to survive against the whales. But for PvE, you’ll be okay with lvl 350 ID gear.

Actually HG is better in PVP due to stat flexibility, the overall cost of trying to reroll desired stats ‘might’ exceed actuall price of solmiki, stat reroll cost ranges from 5m-10m depending on powder availability in market.

agree with this, stats matter a lot in pvp.
The only good thing about solmiki gear is the jewelry, theres nothing better atm
If you don’t plan to get the set, just get primus gears with good stats for your build
If you plan to get a set of the same type, solmiki as a set is still the best IMO
