So what's your day 1 impression?

What about people that played iCBT and kOBT? We know the build we want so we’re able to make decisions on using premium items on the first character on the first day without regrets.

Hmmm. Probably should look into a mirror.

Um…real MMO players know not to open anything unique or special on day 1.

I put 140 hours into the CBT without any of these issues. Don’t bother trying to reason with a dim bulb. He got dropped a few too many times clearly.

And I put 10-12 hours into this launch without a single hiccup…so what’s your point?

You made a foolish move and are butthurt over it…and resort to namecalling when someone calls you out…grow up, and move on.

Not to say you are at fault; but that’s the risk you take for using it right on launch day with 2 servers open isn’t it? I played in iCBT2 and already knew the pains of the server instability. Those who didn’t are probably the ones who are being the most vocal right now to be completely honest.

I hope that people with reason understand that risk and I also hope that in the end of all this; they get -something- as compensation.

So as long as you’re not having problems there’s no issue right.

Like I said, you clearly have a broken moral compass completely devoid of empathy.

You’re the worst kind of person.

You guys white knighting the disaster IMC did make me sick.

People lost what they paid for. Got betrayed like this because they believed in imc and wanted to support them. IMC doesn’t care about this right now. Silence again.
I have been to a lot of huge mmo releases like WoW, Addons, D3, Wildstar or Dark Souls (which never had any problems like that upon launch).
There were lags waiting and disconnects but it was fine. This here is a complete betrayal. You can not start over. You are stuck unable to do something. It is not the players fault!
Get real ffs. Some people even paid a lot of their monthly income just to lose everything now. Are you insane?
You can not even do that on a Kickstarter without getting sued.

I’m devoid of empathy?
Just because you did something FOOLISH (that any real gamer would know NOT to do)…makes me devoid of empathy…

Get real. You chose to open premium unique content on day 1, and you should have know that there is a HUGE possibility for bugs and issues the first day of a launch, but you chose to do it anyway.

I dropped money I DON"T HAVE into this game to be here for the launch, and hit a few bits of lag after playing 10 hours…but, I wasn’t foolish and decided to save my premium stuff until after the opening issues will be ironed out…

YOU are the worst kind of person because you are mad you were foolish, and someone is calling you out about your anger, and you are attacking them for it.
Again, grow up.

lol why not that makes no sense.

Don’t expect him to make sense. He’s a horrible excuse for a human being.

“real” gamer. hahhahahhhaaha.
anyone who uses that kind of terminology is dumber than a blade of grass.

You are like someone telling a cancer boy close to death that it is his fault for even trying to live.

You make me sick so much. May the karma strike back at you one day.

Any REAL MMO player knows that there will be issues and bugs on the first few days of launch. It makes perfect, logical sense that a real MMO player would wait for those bugs to be ironed out before opening something that’s limited edition, unique and so on.

@Sciguma How is there betrayal when people chose to be foolish?
I paid money I don’t have (I have to pay 100% of my college tuition on top of all of my other bills, so I dont’ have the $50 I put into this launch for stuff)…but i wasn’t foolish enough to jump the gun.

I’ve been through MANY releases, and I’ve seen some better ones, I’ve also seen some really bad ones too…this…this is about average…could have been a lot better, don’t get me wrong, but could have been a lot worse too.

Lets be real here, there are hardcore gamers and there are casual gamers, if your time is far and inbetween, your gonna use your items asap to help you level. The Queues where one thing, I could live with that, but this lag, oh this lag…it hurts.

Pretty much, I’m honestly didn’t know such repugnant people existed in the MMO community.

I’m a little taken a back honestly. I loved the CBT, put 140 hours into it. Didn’t experience any game braking bugs.

I had no reason to assume the launch would be more buggy than the closed beta. So I used my founders pack wanting to create my character an play.

Now I’m getting insulted for wanting to use the bonuses I paid for in a game at launch when I need them.

What is insulting is the people who clearly don’t get that games ALWAYS have issues on day 1…
And you threw it at me that ‘if you didn’t experience it it’s fine right?’…so how is it any different?

I stand by my point that opening something unique/premium on the first day is foolish because it is going to be subject to getting messed up in bugs and major issues that always pop up on day 1.

I have played MMO’s for 15 years, never had a day one issue break my character. Period.

Sorry but you’re awful it’s better we don’t continue this conversation. I’m seriously depressed to meet someone like you.

That’s your problem that you’re depressed about it.

But I am going to bed because I have to be up in 6 hours for work…
Have fun being upset about losing your pixles…while I will sleep just fine because mine weren’t wasted on the first day.

How is it a betrayal?
You start after waiting 4h for them to fix problems. Fine. They promised it is fine and will look into it.
Fine! Half an hour later after you started and it looked like a typical release they announce another server completely solving your problem but you are now stuck and they have the nerve to call that you can use the solution somewhere end of May.
Whereas new players that did not care and tried to support IMC beforehand can enjoy the new server while the founders are stuck unable to do anything.
This is one hell of a betrayal completely unmatched in my history of gaming.

Like buying a car you know is cheaper by far at the end of the year but it has only two wheels mounted. They actually have the other wheels lying around but will not mount them and enjoy you suffering. Unacceptable. Completely unacceptable.
And then here have some exp tomes for compensation. Thanks for nothing.
