You need to remember that for a lot of people that buy the $50 pack and opened it, starting over is simply NOT an option.
There’s also the fact that you need to create a different family name if you start over.
That’s their problem then for being too eager. Just my two sense. Do people seriously expect launches to go smoothly?
Also; if you don’t redeem the pack it doesn’t get used. FYI.

Well my character is officially broken after one day. The one I invested all my founders pack bonuses in.
Uh…why would you waste the premium items on the first character on the first day?

I expect launches not to break my character that I used the founders bonuses on. Since you know I kinda paid real money for them.
An now they’re stuck on a broken character. I kind of expected that much.

There is a GREAT game here.
If I could actually play it. Forget the queue times, that’s expected. The lag and the non-functionality of key NPC’s and features (I.E: Warp travel) due to the lag makes the game REALLY hard to enjoy.

This is a game where 1 character will not be enough to experience the game fully…I don’t intend to open my premium until I find a build i like

And that’s your problem. Never do it. Ever. Now you learned your lesson, I hope. Patience is a virtue. Eagerness only leads to salty tears. You pre-ordered the game. Basically what this is. Since when has a pre-order ever gone well with no problems on launch? Very, very few occasions.
Just because you pay for something doesn’t mean you are entitled to a bug/glitch/stress free environment. This is a harsh lesson that people are having happen to them over, and over, and over again. However they just simply refuse to learn their lesson.
Basically; just because you pay for something doesn’t mean you will get what you want.

Dont think, you can fault ppl for using the packs, after all thats why they brought it, right now the server lag is the major problem. Not sure if steam will refund people, but you can always try if you want a refund. if not wait it out. however if the sever problems and lag isnt fixed there will be alot of unhappy ppl.

Any real MMO player knows there are always issues with launches, and any serious MMO knows not to waste premium content on the first day and the first character you build.

I wish I overslept more for the launch. I waited all night for the launch only to get to hear 4 hours postponed… woke up an hour late… name was taken… went in anyway with new name… opened my pack… 40 minutes later they announce EU namesake server is opening in 4 hours. I just felt like utter ■■■■.
The lag is making the game unplayable. It’s like I’m back at iCBT2 again, but this time I actually payed to be part in this one and my paid items are not going to last forever and here I am standing next to an NPC trying to finish a quest which took me 50 seconds to finish, but 10 minutes to turn in.
It’s easily one of the worst launches I’ve taken part of. I love this game, but I’m really concerned about my accounts status and my mental status.
