I saw maintenance ended at 6am EDT but still can’t connect o servers
If i am not mistaken it is on 10th, not 9th, so it is not today, and tomorrow there will be maintenance, so probably after that around 6 or 7 AM server time.
i dont think it’s open beta anymore, it;s full release tomorrow
The korean server is not on full release, why would iToS be?
Tomorrow is the actual OBT, we only paid for the exclusive access.
keep dreaming bud, the korean server is already “fully” release since last year, what you’re seeing now is the “fully release” game as for the people who paid (myself included), we didn’t pay por an open beta lol, it wasn’t stated as a such but i wonder why some people still got the idea that this was a beta, the exclusive access was only to “stabilize” the service before opening the gates.
sadly this is going to be the “final” product.
open beta.
The game in KToS is in full release, it went full release with its’ Renewal Patch.
I noticed a lot of people get confused with the different terms of closed/open beta and full released versions.
The problem in general is MMO publishers started to use the terms incorrectly over the last couple years(especially AeriaGames).
When we play open/closed betas, this is the testing phase of the game which normally gets one or more player wipes before the full release. Closed betas will require a key or special sign up to participate while open betas are available to anyone who create an account and log in.
Now recently in the last couple years we have been introduced to early access concepts. Now these can be very confusing for people who already haven’t a clue on what the different releases/betas are all about.
Early Access, as the name states is the ability for people to get a head start on a “fully released” version and as such will not have any player wipes performed. These early access features normally require a buy to play or a founder package type purchase key to access said feature.
ToS is in the early access concept, so for better or for worse we are definitely in the full release version. Whether the stability or game in itself functions like an alpha or beta is totally the fault of the dev team.
I personally believed the 2nd closed beta should not have been our last test phase but I am neither IMC nor a publishing company, so my opinion really doesn’t matter.
I wonder if people knows what time zones are.
Korean server is defiantly in full release. Your referencing old information.
Spot on we are the Guinea pigs!

It is funny though that I cannot find any source that states that the korean server has already been fully released. Could anyone enlighten me? I always thought that the Renewal was actually only a content patch.
On Feb 26th the open beta for the game was announced.
Two weeks later the exclusive access was announced (the first one that people went on riot against it)
four days later the exclusive access was tweaked to what we have right now.
I’m still waiting for an actual announcement that says ‘Hey, this is not beta any longer’!
Honestly though, whether it is beta or not it does not matter. The game is new and it is expected to be glitchy imo, the korean server is on similar state.

Great that you said ‘normally’, since there were games which the open beta did not lead to wipe. Ragnarok is one of the cases.
@Senpachie
I paid to become a guinea pig and I dont regret it
Yup same here. Spend 50 dollars worth it!!!
It’s me and my pet bruno all the way.

Yeah I was in the RO closed and open beta(many other game betas as well) hence why I used the term normally. Some publishers just did some weird things while the majority followed a standard pattern going from beta state to release.
Open beta, hopefully.
