First, gotta give credit where it’s due; I haven’t been feeling lag lately, cross server party is awesome and servers feel really smooth, and while i know IMC has more important things to change and this is far from the most gamebreaking thing, but i still gotta ask if team name change will always cost 150 TP?

Yeah my team name is awful(people ask me if im a botter…) because i was mad at every name i wanted being taken so i went Yolo and typed some random name, which is my fault entirely(though tbh i expected it to be easier than it is to change it in the future). But 150 tp for team name change seems harsh IMO.

i prepared atleast 10 names to get when f2p came
all did not work
and yes 150 tp is way too much

if they made it too cheap, people would just change their names all the time.

“oops, too many people know i’m a scammer… time for the next name…” etc.

if your 10 names were already taken when f2p started… it suggests to me that your names probably weren’t terribly original to start with.

copying from anime/manga/tv/movies/books/etc is a great way to find your name already used.

Doesn’t help that when you make your team name they don’t ask you to confirm if you’re sure.

I remember I already suggested it way back months ago… asking them to add a page here on their website for the purpose of checking availability of team names. so that nobody will waste time on the lodge end up being fck up.

but they don’t care.

mind if you at least try reading for once without prejudice? where did I say I don’t want my team name? I merely suggesting something to IMC so that new players won’t experience what the thread starter feels.

the more players come in the more it will be hard for making a team name. so better have a seperate Website where people can check “availability”

well, you attacked my “prejudice” in the way that i read/responded to your post…

i pointed out that the prejudice is on your side, assuming i’m attacking you specifically, instead of simply asking why -anyone- would click ok on a name they don’t want.

if you don’t like having poor grammar pointed out to you after you start insulting people, maybe you should make sure you get your grammar right in the first place.

I personally did not have any issues with it however it’s overall really poorly thought out and there is no reason to defend it whatsoever. Just like how they had the /destroyguild bug, lazy coding.

regarding the team names? i guess they just assumed (probably mistakenly) that the majority of international users were smart enough to pick names they wanted.

regarding the /destroyguild bug? no piece of software has ever been released completely bug free. but they patched it very quickly, which is really all we can hope for.
