inqusitor does look cool, and looks like it could compete with wizard and archer dps under circumstances. doashi looks more like an half-half support/dps class like wugushi and rouge
Inquisitor’s break wheel spreads physical damage in it’s radius. It’s actually a good pair for swordsman compared to linker since it doesn’t have a limit.
Seems to me that R8 Swordsmen are all getting all-out heavy hitting damage dealers while R8 Wizards and Clerics are getting more gimmicky utility-damage that’s supposed to synergize well with Swordsmen and with lower rank classes. Sage duplicating fireballs and making fire pillar larger, Featherfoot turning enemies into healing pinatas, Daoshi buffing Zaibas, Inquisitor spreading physical damage, etc. Not to mention the balance they’re aiming at for PVP with Inquisitor being so anti-magic, Lancer shitting all over magic circles, traps, statues, etc., card system giving you the ability to stunlock with physical damage without need to go Swordsman3 for restrain, Mumillo dodging magic damage and having a gap closer that stuns while also buffing Rodelero skills so you get to benefit more from Slithering etc.
We won’t know what the DPS rankings in PVE look like until we get hard numbers and see these skills in action, but from a PVP standpoint it seems to me that Swordsman is getting a lot of tactical options and there are going to be a lot more counters to the magic damage meta.
so swordsman r8 is now useful on PvP…
then time to play again, hope additional buff on all classes when r8 release
