This game is based on grinding and killing mobs. But the game itself doesn’t protect the player from random KS. This is a major issue, so annoying, specially in the higher levels, when we have one or two channels for all the players to fit in. The KS is spreading way to much in every map. Every time I’m killing a mob, some Swordman class just shows up and one hit my mob. So, I’m asking, what can IMC do to fix this problem? The KS right now is worse that in RO, and RO had terrible KS.
I have same problem. We need more ch and it’ll help a bit for this problem. 
I agree KS can be annoying specially when looking for a rare mob drop. Almost all other modern mmo games as solved the ksing issues one way or another, i hope IMC do something about this at final release.
I think they mentioned in a previous interview competition is expected for mobs.
Get credit for kill by getting a hit? It sounds like it’ll make the game too easy but it’s better than not being able to progress at all.

Not the plethora of quests and hidden quests? Besides, is there any issue here? from what I’ve seen first person to hit the mob gets the loot,that or it’s random for anyone that attacks the mob and you still get xp so what’s the problem?
If I’m not wrong kill quest doesn’t count if someone else kill it. I’m not sure though.

Im playing the game too Torrel and unless there is a bug, no first to hit gets the loot rule… if only that was true no problem at all.
heuu, did play RO? ksing is normal is part of the game live with that loll. if someone ks you just leave it, there is plenty of mobs, or change channel, -_-’
The answer is simple, all the exp, drops, quest completion should go to the person/party that hits first. If its like this steal killing wouldn’t exist 
Oh i forget to mention something, few years ago i played a game with nation vs nation fully open pvp where you fought continuos skirmises to keep ur grind spot, i loved that system because thats true competition, ksing without pvp is no competition at all.
@Tsuyucchi Only last hit counts for kills in quests. Dont know about exp and loot,but looks like its not for the first hitter.
@Torrel The game is based around grind and killing monsters. You can grind quest, but remember we have alterated rates, so the quests exp wll be much lower. And most of the quests are about killing monsters anyways.
@whitetee003 In higher levels there is just one channel in each map, and a lot of people to kill, meaning lots of ks. Ive played RO a lot, and its different for three reasons. You could fly around the map, the maps are much bigger than in ToS and the mobs don`t have fixed spawns. Mix the lack of these features with a lot people wanting to do quests or grind levels and you have a mess. People camping at the spots and onthers KSing at first sight.
I`ve no problem about competing mobs, but at least in RO you had more variety of maps and no fixed spawn. I can see the problems when the official servers open if in the CBT we already are experiencing these kinds of problems.
I am pretty sure loot is distibuted based on who did more dmg to the monster. Also similar to exp distribution doing a certain amount of dmg rewards you exp from the monsters death.
im lvl 52 but if you say in hight lvl there is only 1 channel, now i aggre it will be a problem when you do quest and people are in the same spot, because yeah the map are not big like in RO.
We need random monster spawns, so the game isn’t all about Pyromancers leaving fireballs under spawns…or leaving one between you and your mob trail. -_-
What’s the point since everyone else hit fire ball away even when pyro didn’t mean to left it under spawn. Someone did this to me while I cast it under mob that spawn right away and I didn’t even get a kill once because he/she keep push it away like that.
Or just allow us to play on our own similar to Path of Exile. To be fair, it seems like its fine soloing instead of having a greedy party leader
