When you enter the city the game have problems loading because of the huge spam
Just now I entered Orsha and there was 6 bots near the statue spamming
If the Spam Block existed they would me more quiet
A lot of people are assuming that filters don’t already exist and the spammers aren getting around it.
There’s a reason a lot of them are using l33t speak and all kinds of tricks/techniques.
The problem with chat filters is that they’re a constant war. You stop one thing so they just start getting around it by doing something else. It’s like trying to stop people writing rude words - You can’t.
They’ve already stated VERY clearly what they’re doing. They’re training an automated algorithm to recognise bot behaviour so that it can accurately be automatically banned without getting false positives that ban legitimate players.
This training takes time.
Just make the chat suspend someone (not talk anymore) who try to send messages too fast. If they continue to spam, like, 10 messages every 30 seconds, make the system notice that and reduce the time until 0
Like any other game

the reason there is no spam block is because the first one to get blocked would be the darn System after 2 seconds in mission

You must be new to MMORPGs then. Every f**king online game tries to have one. Most of them doesn’t work.
They try to use that “too many messages in a short period of time” system. Bots can probably go around it by timing the spam massages or using more bots to spam in a rotation. My suggestion would be to download the addon that allows you to Block and Report at the same time.
System chat is client side, reason why Addons are able to use the System chat too.
Bots are something that will always be in MMORPGs. The only way to prevent them from being here is if people stop buying from them… Unfortunately we all know there are stupid rich kids out there that couldn’t care less to the game’s health.
So basically, getting too aroused by that will feel like this:
You can’t even block them if they don’t talk.
If one of your party members is afking in dungeon, you can’t even block him by right clicking him. If the person is spamming the party invert tag in Fedamian. (lv200 dgn anyone?), you can’t block him because he’s not talking.
This game has by FAR the worst block system in any MMO.
They should at least add a mute system on people who spam, which exist in 99% of MMO, but not TOS.
Even thought it won’t block spam 100%, but at least it’s better than letting them spam your whole chat in 0.1 second.
