So... it's begin

This look like KOBT players starting to take this matter in their hand.

(Didn’t realized this video was up for month now).

Anti-Bot Association

Mean a while… all we do is complaining over here rather than taking actions.

As funny as this video is, there’s no way we can prevent bots from getting resources since by now they must have reached 200+. We can’t PK too.

Also, no one would be stupid enough to deny farm 24/7.

Specialy in every map, in every channel

Yeah, but… the point is here is not all about sending someone out there and competing against all these bots. It’s about how loyal us players can be even if it a small amount of effort being input to fight against this bot and this guy demonstrate that loyalty.

Except the fact that all of us (most of us, but not entirely the whole players population) is playing the waiting game with IMC.

Might be interesting to have a bot killer (BK) mode that players could toggle. Toggling the mode would remove all current buffs/effects (like druid transformation) and would disable use of the player’s skills.

Furthermore, Bot killer mode would give a player greatly increased defense, health, and immunity to skill attacks (this is important because some skill attacks hit a bunch of times, also prevents someone from toggling BK mode and walking into cure fields, dievderby owls, or similar skills).

If you toggle that mode, it allows other players to attack you. If they hit you (with physical attacks), more than X number of times within a certain amount of time, it will force toggle pvp mode for the attacking player and will allow you to use your skills again. Killing the attacking player will give 1 BK point which can then be redeemed for small bonuses like healing potions, SP potions, and things like that. You will automatically be toggled off from BK mode upon killing a ‘bot’ player. You will then have a cooldown of 5 minutes before BK mode can be toggled again.

And then I enable it as a druid and transform. Fun day that’ll be

Good point, updated and addressed your concern.

Bot mode is a good idea, but I’m sure they would make it so that you could filter out that kind of entity in the game and the bot would just ignore players in the mode.

Hmm… maybe if bot killer mode temporarily switched your displayed name and hp to match a monster in the map, but not your character model.

This would force bot makers to have to build a visual whitelist of different monster types and force checking against that database (which is expensive and more difficult especially since monsters and players have different appearances based on their orientation…).

This would be easy for players to recognize and avoid, but harder (but not impossible) for bots to avoid.

Yeah, let’s fight the moron war against bots !
What a great idea ! I’m sure they’ll get tired and surrender in no time !

That being said, I would be more than happy to PK them if imc gifted us with open pvp
