So is this pretty much how its going to be for the whole headstart?

You can play fine for like 30 mins then you get hit with lag where you can’t talk to NPCS, can’t use items, can’t world chat, pretty much can’t do anything except kill monsters. The lag lasts way longer than the times its stable. A GM in another thread said about the lag “stay tuned for any important updates regarding the status of the game”…basically a generic copy/paste reply. It has me worried that I wasted all this money getting in a month early when I probably won’t even be able to play properly. Just a bunch of wasted time.

At the first close beta it was pretty much alike and it lasted a week.

Let see how this one goes

They’ll fix it the same way they fixed the beta.
Keep trashtalking the PR nonsense about nothing, being sorry for inconvenience, promising to fix things, and just sit in their office waiting for 50% of the population to stop playing so the lag/queue problem will literally fix itself.

People already paid, after sitting in the queue for 2 hours they can’t refund steam, so what does IMC lose?

Usually this type of stuff lasts about a week or so. Any EA that doesn’t last at least a week feels it the entire time and then some as full launch hits without any resolution to current problems.

If they haven’t figured it out in a week and a half you can be assured that they have someone in place who doesn’t have the leadership to make decisions, that they haven’t paid any attention to the market before they launched this game, and/or that they don’t have a skilled enough team to create resolutions.

One, two, or all three aspects are very possible.

double ping than other NA games, no L.A. server, basicaly i’m waiting for a miracle
