So is sucking down SP pots like an addict a normal thing?

Recently made a warrior and holy bejebus do these things suck SP.
Is this what it is like? Constantly being near overweight with SP pots only to burn through 500 of them in the next 2 hours?

Lemme guess, doppel with c3 attributes?

dragoon3, but I have seen the same issue on several warrior jobs

Unless you are a kabbalist or has a kabbalist friend or was lucky enough to get a Lord Helgascercle card that’s pretty much the game. I went as far as investing 100 SPR on my farm characters trying to diminish that ( since last update weapons way outweighs all the other stats but SPR, Con and Dex anyways).

am a wiz2 > psycho3 > Alchemist3 > Sage and I rarely use sp pots

no much SPR am full INT

Sword and Archer classes really spend a lot on sp potions, so unless you invest a little in spr you’ll be wasting rivers of money on pots

Just make a Squire, you’ll never have problems with SP pots with any of your characters anymore.

You still need to make camp and table every 90min so that’s about 20k in raw materials, I guess it’s still better than using potions but if you have to add the hassle to lv up a squire and change char to make camp>tp>buff>go back eh…it’s not so worth it anymore (still worth it but not as much, for me at least)

I strongly recommend you get a stat reset and put 50 to 100 SPR. you won’t have problems with SP anymore.

You will still have to use mana pots, obviously, but they will regenerate much more than they do now.

Yes, mana pots do increase effectiveness depending on your max SP.

I have both dragoon 3 and doppel 3 and they both have 100 base SPR. It’s much more efficient to get some SPR as you don’t run out of sp and therefore don’t lower your overall dps by waiting on pots cooldown.

guessing you’re an elememe > onmyoji2, cannonner3 or shadow2 (with no SPR invested)?

Be a Kriv3-Monk3-Zealot, you’ll be in good company with drinking buddies.

Yes swordsman do suck / consume SP. usually I carry 2 potions and on bossing toons I carry 3. The average set up of 2 potions is pretty much enough to sustain SP. do note that NPC potions are pricey tho

I’d recommend adding 50ish Spr. Or getting it on armors, but i personally feel like it’s easier to use base stats for things you need and armors for the stats you mainly use. Getting more than 2 greens on gears is pretty lucky imo, anyway.
Your call tho.
Either way, you’d be amazed at how easier a class is to play with just a little like 50 added…

don’t you know swordsman is the new wizard? :tired:

on a serious note yes they use way too much mana potions despite how much hp potions they have to chug vs stronger monsters

Almost any non full SPR (or any class without SP recovery skill/attribute) will have to spam SP pots…
SPR is so weak in this game, they should boost it, the magic defense is laughable, the SP recovery is useless against Rank6+ skills and meanwhile CON is still the meaning of “broken” in this game (both in TBL and PVE)

SPR does not give magic defense anymore.

Get SPR as a stat invested or on equipment, get SP recovery stat or awakened on gear, eat squire food, get a battlebird, get some cards for restoring SP, party with classes that restore SP… there are lots of options.

get some cards for restoring SP

such as?

He said in the OP he is a warrior(swordsman).

SP problem is especially bad with swordsman and archer from my experiences… even if I’m using mergen’s skill as a filler for QS3-falc3 AA build, still have SP problems sometimes… and I turn off the falcon auto attack when not using.
