To each his own. Hope you’ll find a better game.

As for me, I haven’t really found anything else yet that’s going to keep me more interested than ToS, or maybe I’m just waiting for the game to die on me eventually like what RO did (as with most, if not all, MMOs).

Amidst issues, I’m still feeling the challenge and is having fun with the game.

Me too. But it may be because I’m not playing the game ā€˜seriously’. If I were to play this game as hardcore-minded as I played FFXIV this game would get really boring to me within a couple weeks I think.

It makes me curious why people keep calling this a ā€˜hardcore’ game when I’m treating it as casual as possible and having fun doing so lol.

This game has some hardcode aspects (like the inevitable grind post 240 and the hunt for current endgame gear) but it’s indeed mostly casual, especially on the early half.

You can play an hour or two when you can and then pick up on it at a later time without breaking that feel of continuity. Guess that’s where a somewhat linear quest line has an advantage.

Well that’s what most recent MMOs are like these days anyways (the need to cater to a wider playerbase for better profit, not just to a niche).
