Okay I started to fight a boss. When he was on his death bed he just… ran away huh? Like you know, sometimes kepa runs away when you smack it good. Then he instantly returned with full hp, screen went black and he totally raped me with some crazy aoe attack. Well ■■■■ happens, but wtf why did all of my gems drop? I never noticed them dropping on death. So they dropped in bossfight realm and when you respawn they just poof disappear.
Is that actually intended, that gems drop in a bossfight and you can’t retrieve it?
They drop on death all the time in dungeons.
Also it’s not just boss monsters.
You can retrieve them.
Most likely by spending an icoin to do so.
Its kinda annoying that they do drop, so just store them all in the warehouse each time you go to town to repair. I think some gems disappear as well, so no point in risking it.
Gems drop when you die inside dungeons, where was the boss fight? If it was inside a dungeon than that’s your answer.
And they don’t drop all the time, only inside dungeons, unless it changed and i did not notice.
No it was a regular location, but I guess it happens in boss fights too. I started playing recently so perhaps I didn’t get to die much before (died 3-4 times with no gems in my inv so didn’t know they drop)
Can you give us the name of the map and boss, it could be a bug after all gems are not supposed to drop outside dungeons.
I would like to, but my client broke immediately after fighting that boss 2nd time and i can’t join atm. I guess it was 3rd floor of mines (~lvl 22) in the very north room.
Mines are a dungeon
@GapTinMana Actualy didnt know that because ive never died outside a dungeon. ty.
Oh, a friend of mine told me that dungeons are available at 50+ levels. Aren’t they supposed to be side quests? Because I thought mines are hosting main quests.
This is why the storage exist.
I think he was talking about the 40, 90, and 130+ dungeons.
Those are side dungeons you dont need to do, they’re for leveling.
Also mines and mage tower are both main quests but are considered dungeons.
Mines are indeed dungeons, that should answer your question, though it doesn’t answer your disappearing boss bug.
Dungeons will host main quests, the next one will be in Tenet Chapel (lvl 40).
Also I thumbs up for @Hunxx, storage gems when going in dungeons.
What about bosses running away and restoring health instantly, should that actually happen?
Nope thats a bug from what I know.
They reset their health because theyre pulled too far away from the spawn point.
Well when it ran away it looked pretty normal, just like ordinary mobs do. But when he returned with full health it sure was a surprise.
It’s only happened to me twice.
But it did happen to me in the mines so it may be a common bug there.
was it the bull, it happened to me too… it was really annoying
Technically he’s not wrong. There’s instanced dungeons (where only your party enter that instance) at 50/90/130/160/175/190/200 (the lv 100 missions are a bit different as they scale with player level)
And then there’s the Mine, the cathedral, etc that are open dungeons.
The characteristic of them is that all monsters are aggressive (as in they’ll attack you on sight), gems can be found as well as dropped upon death, monster in dungeons also tend to have higher stat compare to something of similar level outside.
Usually world bosses spawn in dungeons as well (for the mine it’s Deathweaver)
