So I finally reached level 330 with a character. And now?

I took my time, but I finally managed to level a character to 330. In the process, I managed to complete every quest, map every area, do almost all monster kill requirements, fill more than half of the collections, and attain an honorable rank #83 on the adventure ladder (which will be wiped tomorrow ). So what’s left to do?

  1. Complete all collections: from what I’ve seen, I could buy some of the items remaining in the market, but most of them cost a fortune; I’d say half of the remaining items are rare drops or items that require crafting from a common recipe and rare mats, should be feasible to get them but would require quite some time; the other half consists of ultra rare items or mats (tanu flower anyone???)… I don’t plan to spend the rest of my life endlessly scumming for them … there should not be 0.01% drop rate items from monsters that spawn every minute for collections that just give a small boost!!!

  2. Saalus runs: still need blessed shards to improve items; and starting tomorrow, you’ll get 2 shards per run instead of 1 (too bad there will be only the long missions left)

  3. Practonium quest: 20 days already with the cube, 60 kesta potions in the inventory; this gives me time to do solo crystal mines missions to get the corresponding mats; I also have 10 ripped pieces of paper and 32 ores rotting in my storage… to bad they’re completely useless (would be nice to have a “real” quest accessible to everyone to get the corresponding cube recipe – even a hidden quest like the ones you complete to obtain the mats, not a stupid event )

  4. Finish clearing HG maps: I’ve still some monster kills to complete (although it’s probably irrelevent now), and maybe I could find some good items…

  5. Earth Tower runs: well clearly I’m not prepared for this yet, it will require getting much better equipment than my current lvl 315 set; basically… you take forever to improve your equipment, looking for rare drops, farming for silver, to do a dungeon that will provide better (and easier to get) equipment that will make your slowly and painfully gained equipment obsolete :frowning:

Alright there will soon be a higher level cap (360), but will there be more content? Otherwise, this will simply be a matter of using all the leftover xp cards that are plagueing my inventory and storage at this point. Any plans to implement the northern maps?

Starting to get a bit bored… I know, I’m gonna start a new character instead!

Well TBL is coming back if you’re into those sort of stuff.

I know, I’m gonna start a new character instead!

Now you get it!!!

farm 200m silvers for R9 preparation :joy:

Endgame:

PVP - hopefully TBL returns with no issues. Still looking forward to the revamped GvG.

Tree of Alts - try all possible builds you want. Feels repetitive after awhile though that you’d wish IMC might as well sell max lvl chars.

Endgame Gearing - You described it well: an almost endless cycle (considering talks that cap could go as high as 600+) of grinding for gear so you can grind for even better gear. Gets old fast. Maybe something hardcore players like to do. Pretty much almost every MMORPG out there.

Roleplay - spank me daddy!

@olivier-benard
And now, make sure to check our big update :satisfaction:
New TBL, Monster cards, NEW Adventure Journal, Guild Emblems, Funds System etc

Probably be on a hiatus as soon as they revamped the game engine for good.
Why game engine?
Because ToS is currently behind all those features of WELL-OPTIMIZED GAME, currently using 1 core to process data but if they make a new game engine using all your system cores each time to process data probably this game will bloom again.

Just a simple reminder to ToS Devs:
“1 reason why players are quitting is due to game’s lack of stability which produces server/channel crashes most of the time thus making players irritate and leave the game.”

Starting a new character, like you said, is the best one among the ideas you listed.

First of all, it increases team level so your future alts will have better exp gain.
Second of all, there are tons of classes to experience. Imo, this is the most fun part about any mmropg.
Third, create classes that help you earn money (pardoner, alchemist, schwarzer reiter…etc) so you can buy strong equipments, attributes, or costumes!

It may be a good idea to have a R8 character from each of the branch (swordsman, archer, magician, cleric). In case we get another rank reset event like we did in May, you get to reroll and experience many, many different builds

  1. More collections completed. Found out an easy way to acquire rare mats for the collections… FISHING!

  2. Now 2 shards per run. Also transcended my first item!

  3. Practonium acquired! If I’m not wrong, you’re guaranteed to get it on the 30th day, right? Because I got mine on the 30th day. Crafted a Vienarazis mace with it.

  4. Got a Tanu Flower from the HG100 dungeon… groovy!

  5. Aaaaalright. With my new mace now enchanted to +8 and transcended to first stage, I decided to try ET. First time, we failed floor 3. Second time, our leader was killed on floor 5 and we didn’t get any reward. Aaaaand we need 40 essences for the first item… so it’s not gonna be for tomorrow :frowning:

Your so lucky…
I open 4 boxes for like 4-5 month still got only 1 prac -___-.
I bought my other pracs from the market.
