Haha, it is meh but there’s no other choice if you want to boost survivabilty, we really need that extra PDEF , we can’t use shield on actual engagement. For you to feel the difference, you need high transcend armor preferably plate, mine is at stage 7 right now and can hit 11K PDEF with no shield. The evasion from guardian goes along well with evasion bonus from mount which gives 200+ evasion not as good as finestra but it’s something.
Yes I use shield and highguard when I’m on cooldown or running away.
Ah… I totally forgot it that Lancers skills are mostly 2h Spears only, thats an issue for sure.

Do you guys think Masinios Pike worth it? I am a lancer. Currently using Prime Raffye Pike 3 green, 2 purple, 1red.
it is indeed an awesome lance, but atm it doesnt seen worth price tho

It is the best for Lancer both PVE and PVP. +2 AoE alone is more than enough to take it. Crush - Quintain small hit box dont have any bonus AOE like Cata skills do. It also works in PVP because of summons and multiple players side by side to each other.
Yea, I was thinking about the AOE too. Currently the recipe sell for 49mil. And If I were to reroll the 6*stats on my on my Prime Raffye Pike, the Nucle and Sierra Powder will cost me 11, 178,000 per reroll.
If you can afford it then better buy it, youre gonna use that spear for more than a year. In my server the lowest is 67m and no one is buying it for days already. I doubt it will go down 40m below because I think 40m is affordable enough for many people. Just hope it will become +11 though.

Not bad but I still prefer HG.Can farm multiple pike to upgrade chain and use the best outcome, RO style xD
Still, I would prefer the Masinios for the AoE, it benefits the Lancer greatly tho.

Just remember one thing, lancer is only pvp and boss. Nothing else…

- crush and quintain cooldowns are changed to 20 sec.
- joust range is doubled
Kind wish they added AOE ratio too.
