There is an easy solution, if you stand in the same spot for longer then 10 minutes without touching a move key you get marked as AFK and your attacks wont register/damage until you move.
That will only work on the most basic of users, and in that case I think it would be better to make it so that the key has to be press with each attack instead. Neither of these solutions are any reliable though, as they are easily bypassed with a simple key macro program.
The most effective solution I’ve seen so far is basically what @moshiking1609 said about bringing up some form of captcha once in a while. But that would be really annoying for all legit players, and thus not really a viable solution (depending on how it would be handled).
I for one like the captcha idea, though I’d prefer it to have strikes rather than have it boot you off the game directly, lets say you were on the phone and you missed a captcha check, you would get 1 strike, but if you were able to type the next one it would cancel out your strike.
