So After Playing For Honor For the Past Few Days, Swordsman Need

3 new classes IMC. Make it happen (Rank 9 and Rank 10):

Some type of “Orochi” or Samurai/Ronin concept which utilizes swift and agile 2-handed attacks with a Katana, (new type of weapon/2-handed sword which dealy both Slash AND Pierce damage). Features real counter attacks, high evasion, and passives to boost crit damage and crit chance.

Some type of “Conqueror” class that utilizes Flails - Will be a more tanky jump up from Rodelero to give shield classes some more love and variety. (Murmillo is still God though). Heavy focus on Smash damage with a passive to reduce defense by a fixed percentage and as well as a passive to stun someone with Smash based attacks.

Some type of “Berserker” class that utilizes Axes…because…well…axes. Heavy passive Bleed chance and additional damage on Bleeding targets as well as enhanced Slash damage and the ability to gain health when a target bleeds.

Thoughts?

Stopped right there. Probably not even possible with their engine and would just be buggy as hell in the end (Revenged Sevenfold, anyone?)

Consider allocating ToS playtime towards more For Honor playtime.

You actually have some sort of counter-attack in-game already, at least for Peltasta.

When you block, you have a small time to use UB, it will add an extra line of damage.

So it’s not really impossible to add, it is tho, for the capacity of the developer not knowing how to improve it and apply to other classes.

We don’t even have knuckles for monk!!! what kind of MMORPG with monks but no knuckle? or wait, monk is forgotten and it’s all about inquisitor xD

tho they did have knuckles but still. :joy:

counter attacks wont work with tos. not with this latency and fps issue. even the combat mechanics itself, I really think it won’t work. counter attacks and i-frames works on games like Dragon Nest, BNS, Revelations etc etc.

Oh, trust me, I understand.

More wishful thinking than anything else, I mean…they COULD but that’d involve improvement of the game’s platform…

Additionally, Axes, Knuckles, Katanas and Flails should be added to this game IMO.

I still don’t get how we have a Monk class with no exclusive at a minimum…(I mean, Fencer has rapiers).

Additionally, we need more weapons in game in general. Level 120+ and Trinity Sword will carry you for 100 levels with no other real solid options aside from maybe a Five Hammer with 5 Red Gems?

Or IMC can work on fixing their game and you can play For Honor in the meantime. (I’m building up my Warlord, what you got?)

Syncho Thrusting already have that counter attack thingy…which make the damge double(or more)when u countered an attack…

about the topic

i would love to see they add those things

a samurai class with some kind of mini dash+slash skills with 10 overheats
weak damage but a very mobile class

i also would love to see another class that uses sword+gun aside from corsair or an advance class that will improve those who took corsair3

the berseker would be fun if it has a skill like RO’s lord knight skill “berserk”…double hp, double dmg, double movement speed, HP gets drained over time and cannot use skill…plus reflect all form of damage back to the attacker 50% chance so every one would just ran away from it while the skill is active

Cossack would be Corsair’s upgrade class that also use swords + gun and maybe able to dual wield swords
