Snow Rolling Bugs³!

Hopefully this time these will get fixed!

Copypasting from my previous (two) threads:

Date and Time : During the current beta.

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Keyboard mainly, one bug Exclusive with the mouse.

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) :
Specific objects you can stand on. Rocks, Tables, there are quite a
few.

Bug Description : There’s three bugs I’ve found with Snow Rolling in the previous beta.
First one is pretty simple, you cannot move while on top of the snowball
if you’re using mouse controls. You click on the ground and your
character doesn’t move. They stay in place until the snowball ends.

Second bug is a bit more complicated to do. You have to jump on top
of object/structure on maps that aren’t the floor, like a rock you
can stand on top of, or a vase. Then if you cast snow rolling on top
of these objects you also become unable to move around, even when using
the keyboard controls.
NOTICE: I’ve noticed some objects now have this fixed, yet some others still suffer from this bug. I guess the best and simplest place it occurs is in Klaipeda:** You go to the ramp in front of the Pyromancer Master’s house and stand on top of the fence. When you cast snow rolling there, you can’t get down the fence while on top of the snowball.**

Third bug happens sporadically, but it basically makes the snowball
vanish much quickly than usual. It usually happened when I was going to
roll over a very big mob. I think it has to do with the mob’s monsters
attacking the snowball before it rolls over them maybe? Nonetheless it
felt really bug-like.

Now I will add a fourth bug that hasn’t been
mentioned in the original topic, but that I’m quite certain it also is a
bug: Monsters can attack you while they’re inside the snowball. That
can be quite devastating in places like dungeons or higher level zones
where monsters are powerful and can take out a lot of your health. I
think it’s quite obvious that whenever monsters are hit by it, they are
supposed to be ‘stunned’ for the duration.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

Mouse Bug:

  1. Switch to Mouse Controls
  2. Cast Ice Rolling and try moving with the mouse.
  3. You won’t be able to move the snowball around.

Object Bug:

  1. Walk/Jump on top of a terrain structure that isn’t the floor, such as a rock fence, table, etc.
  2. Cast Snow Rolling on top of said structure
  3. You won’t be able to move the snowball around.

Destroyed Ball Bug:

  1. Cast Snow Rolling near many mobs (it most often happened in Mage Tower 1)
  2. Move towards said group of monsters, trying to roll over them.
  3. Sometimes the snowball would hit them only 2/3 times before vanishing prematurely.

Monsters Attacking you Bug:

  1. Cast Snow Rolling and run over monsters (easiest to be seen against mobs that have projectile attacks)
  2. Watch as they attack you while being damaged/dragged by the snowball.
    NOTE:
It seems that it’s easier for them to attack you while you’re standing
still, but even moving with the snowball has also proven to have them
    attack you.

Hello Saviors!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We’ll get the devs to look into this as soon as possible. A fix date cannot be promised right now, but this will definitely appear in some future patch notes if it gets fixed.

Thank you! And of course, the Devs can take their time fixing this, but it is nonetheless a pleasure knowing they’re aware of these issues!

you dont make me happy ok !! this bug is complain so many years ago . will be fix soon !! ??
my sorcerer is full of bug too when you gonna fix it ?

from cyro to sorcerer i dont know how to play with those skill bugs.

Another bug I found on the snowball, not certain if it’s been reported yet, but when you are attacked while building your snowball animation (the point of animation where you are getting on your ball, but like a few frames away from actually rolling on it), you become stuck in midair.

Steps to reproduce bug:

  1. Cast Snow rolling
  2. Get hit by an enemy right before the snow ball completes itself. Let go of the skill charge and during the snow ball building animation, get hit.

While in this midair state, you can’t jump properly or use skills properly aside from snow rolling. You can use the regular attack and that’s it.
You can enter rest mode, but when you exit rest mode, you will be stuck in midair again.
The only way to undo the bug is to activate snow rolling again and wait for the snow ball to break apart and have your character fall back onto the ground.

I’ve also noticed my snowball ending prematurely :(, and getting attacked while on my snowball. For a spell with over a minute cool down, I expect it to work better than it currently is…
