Small maps and use of channels

So here it goes… I HATE THE FACT THAT MAIN CITY HAS CHANNELS.
i think it should be one city where EVERYONE goes. so single channel. To accommodate for this it would have to be made much bigger. this would allow people to open shops instead of dealing with the Auction House thing (imo, this kills the feels of markets).

for grinding, you should be able to have multiple channels. I keep running into areas which have too many poeple, making it impossible to grind,…
just get rid of channels and make maps bigger…

Ikr, it kinda brakes the buy in shop to some point.

But… It also creates a thing - Like, back in the days of Priston Tale we had a common thing where if you wanted to sell stuff you would go Alpha, and to level/grind you would go Beta to find party and Gamma for a more empty map.

Maybe the community will eventually find a way around this and create “rules” around the channels.

I think the most annoying thing atm are the dungeons with only 1 channel. You can’t even do quests properly with people “aoe’ing” everything around.

Also… They are a publisher, they kinda can’t “do bigger maps”. The game is done, this is a beta, we are testing the content for tweaks and fixes, not for remodeling entire maps and zones.

we need more channels everywhere not less and as for people market, they should have their own channel not plague channel 1 cause everyone end up in that channel…

Or they can just add a new area inside the city for people to open chats for selling or buying things if they want, like in Ragnarok.

“Everyone ends up in that channel” because in side maps there are only Channel 1, when you teleport town it shoves you in the same channel you were before, channel 1. It’s not a market built thing, it’s the game way to handle teleporting and channels.

I know that and it’s what I implied…

I thought I didn’t needed to explain that, since everyone is affected by it.

this is exactly what i was thinking.

so, have a general chat
have a trade chat
have a looking for group chat

makes perfect sense
