Small but rather major hotkey change for mouse users, please

I’d really appreciate it, if you could fit in a “Select/Skip” hotkey for the mouse set-up.

I really just want to use the mouse to target what I want in combat and default to a different button in order to talk to NPC’s or use Statues n’ what not.

Often times a million things, players included, obstruct what ridiculously small “hitboxes” the objects in question already have and make it impossible to reliably click on these things.

I don’t know why it wasn’t in there to begin with, but it’d help a great deal.

You can edit it in hotkey_mousemode.xml.

Just add the line

HotKey ID=“Select” Name=“선택/스킵” DownScp=“None” UpScp=“None” Key=“F” UseShift=“NO” UseAlt=“NO” UseCtrl=“NO” OnEdit=“NO” Category=“Battle”/>

at the end, replace “F” with whatever key you want to use.

There is a < at the beginning it wouldn’t show up unless i removed it.

This need to be added asap!!

Also, maybe it’s just me but we need a “Hold Position” Hotkey, instead of “stop movement” (alt-keyboard mode). Because even when i hold the Alt button if i miss click, my archer will still walk towards the monsters!

Thank you, great and wondrous patron of the forum.

Hey @Nepnep
Since you helped him with a really nice code, can you write one for me? I need a hotkey that when pressed(hold) the character can’t walk/move but can still click and hit monster’s inside it’s range (playing archer) and the left alt won’t work for me, as it only stops movement…

Well, I only was able to write that line because it was already in the game.

I don’t think what you described is possible yet.
