Sky Liner vs Crosscut questions

Alright, so Skyliner and Crosscut are Highlander C2 skills. Although if you didn’t know that I’m not sure why your here…

Sky Liner (at least on tosbase.com) has zero cooldown does not have overheat also inflicts more damage to bleeding enemies although in general is less damage.

Cross cut hits twice and has more damage as well as overheat (can use it twice before activating the cooldown) and inflicts bleeding on hit, but it has a 28 second cooldown.

So are these meant to work in tandem with each other? Id est you use crosscut then Sky Liner for the additional damage? Does anyone know how much additional damage you get? Does it remove the bleed affect? I really wish I could test these skills out right now as it’s not explained very well in the skill descriptions. However, since that’s not possible right now I’ve come to ask the community. Thanks in advance for answering any of my questions.

Yes, the skills were made specifically to work together. Inflict bleed through Cross Cut, then use Sky Liner.

I can’t quite remember the bonus damage. Might have been +50% or +100%? Also, the bleeding effect doesn’t get removed.

Hi Raiden, I’m not playing on KOBT, but I played on last ICBT and can answer some of your questions.

Both Cross Cut and Sky Liner hit twice.

They’re made to work together. It doesn’t remove the bleed. Just be aware that not all mosnters can bleed.

What made Sky Liner shine is the change that made it 0 seconds cooldown. When used with a bleedable monster it does lots of damage.

On iCBT2 I’m pretty sure it was +100% (double damage).

They reduced it when they reduced the CD, but still, one of the most reliable skills on swordsman tree, a great constant dps that is good on any build
