I was grinding and I was level 45…next thing I know I am level 50 and I have 5 stat points is that normal ??
probably killed a high value blue glowing mob. Blue glowing mobs give tons of exp when killed but are extremely rare.

You hit an EXP reset. They happen @46, 86, 135, 186 and so on. Your EXP resets itself to a minimal amount needed to level.
