Skill reset potion price and trading

Well, since the game is made of a lot of time into it and mistakes being made, the use for that potion could be a good way for players to stay still and enjoy the game, knowing that for a decent price they could reset their skills and try another build instead.
I did mistakes, alright that’s bad, but why punish people with the impossibility to trade that or even sell cash items in trade chat. Like selling tokens, please re-think potion policy and price. I’d love to stop lvling new characters because of a few wrong points. ;c

skill reset potion is available in TP trader, the function to reset class is under development.

I know where to find, i bought it once. The problem here is the high price and impossibility to trade it with other players or even buy it from them for Silver, like tokens.

This definitely needs to be looked into. The current price for Skill reset is too high, almost the same as a token.

I don’t mind leaving that behind a paywall, but they could add a quest or system that allows free players to also try new skills.

Maybe something where you can refund only your last point, so if you level a skill and end up disliking it you can just do a quest/mission.

sadly if it wasn’t high price, people will abuse it. This is appropriate enough from them. If you don’t want ur current char, reroll and play new one. if you don’t want to waste ur time, use the potion.

Sorry, but that’s not true unless you can provide credible source from where you got that info.

  1. Do you have any plans to develop a class or rank reset potion?

A. Creating a character in TOS involves making choices about stats, skills, attributes, classes, and many other things. It is possible to revert a character’s entire state to what it was like the day before, for example, but rolling back their class or skills while maintaining the level and stats intact is not an easy task. We will, however, consider making it possible to give up class advancement quests to allow picking a different class.

It may be reconsidered in the future, but IMC as far as I know never claimed that it’s under development.

That would be more feasible.

I also agree that the skill reset potion should be tradable like tokens. The way it is now, free players seem to be semi-stuck behind a paywall for this specific “feature”.

I say “semi” because there’s always the option to reroll, albeit not a favorable route.

If they made it tradable, IMC still earns from players who’ll be buying them in TP and selling them for silver. Everyone wins.

I really cant understand why 88tp instead of something more reasonable. Most of the free players like me, wont be putting much money in the game and those who do, wont be spenting 88tps every now and then. 88tps is something to go for a token, which is overpriced atm. I don’t know, i’m just too frustrated with the fact that i can’t really redo my characters build whenever i feel like i’m doing it under than a avarage build could do with the same class, level and points.
I rolled 4 characters and they were a mess, rerolled stats for 1 of them and left the others to rot because of the few wrong points.
As a casual, i’d say that most of the casuals would leave, like i felt the urge to leave too, but my friend kept asking me to play, then i rolled a new character.
I’m just asking for a good look into it and how it would nourish the market and make it generate more money at a better price and turning it tradable.

Doesn’t seem that expensive for something you’d only need to use once and that allows you to completely change all your skills.

I mean it’s less than $8. And unlike token, you won’t need it monthly, only once in endgame to correct your mistakes or switch your skill build.

Everyone should be able to afford $8, no? A single ride on a big rollercoaster costs that much. And can’t even pay a visit in a restaurant with that.

So, because you can spare that much everytime you need then alright for you. Looks like some people would need it more than you and it wouldn’t hurt anyone.
Or do you believe it is bad for business if more people can afford to redo their talents? I think most of the people who spend more in this game are the same who get to level 200+, those who invested hours of their lives into it, so what’s the problem with making it more accessible to all? More sales, more mony.

More sales more money is not true if the cost decreases.

Money = Sales x Cost

Also what do you think an appropriate price would be?

50tp? It is half the lower pack, money enough to have 50tp in spare.
And yes, if it get to be tradable, it means more money, would enter the currency of the game as Talt and Mithril ore are right now.
I’d definitely buy it via trade if i could.
People buy for a trade, people trade, they cash in
People buy for themselves because it is cheaper, they cash in.
LOTS of people would want it, so lots of people would buy it from the store in order to trade it or give it away for a friend. (which brings another topic)
This game should have a gift system. I want so bad to give my brother tp because he messed up his build, but i cant, i want to buy the potion and give it to him, but i cant!
That’s bizarre asf!

EDIT: Oh! I recommend checking out how warframe works with real money currency, i’d love Tree of Savior to grow, but some paywalls make it harder to overcome some problems. Warframe has a solid trading system, please IMC your game has a hype at this moment that could be a moment of going up or down. Warframe has bugs here and there, same as your game, but has a trading system every f2p game should learn from it. I just stayed and played warframe for a couple years because the game felt literally free because cash items where things to achieve through farming and trading with other people, i spent some money too, because i wanted flashy skins only sold via their store and i didn’t want to grind items to sell to other players.
Please, check it out!
