Equipped gem, but it made skill unusable ;(
You need to put at least a skill point in a skill to be able to use monster gem of this skill.

What? But the gem description didn’t say anything about that, how am I suppose to know that.
And besides what’s the point getting the gem if I have to spend at least 1 point into skill -_-
well… the point is some skill really profit form those +1. (Buff, 5Lv skill, and spell with more target / lv like Join penalty)
Also a gem don’t make you learn a skill, only boost it that why.

The point is to get better skill, damage, duration… like lv6 running shot, etc.
This is not like ragnarok that you can use any card and skill. o/
Seeing what you say I, as a cleric should be able to use a wizard skill if I only have a gem.

This is so confusing, the description should point it out that the gem works only with skills that have skill points invested in.
You can also think it that way…
Divine might would unlock every single skill you would have.
Switching between gear would unlock different spell you haven’t use a point for.
etc…
You can kind off think that would have happen whiteout any description about it.
Someone’s got too much Ragnarok Online history… These aren’t Lvl 1 skill Monster Cards, friend.
This is actually what I thought when I first started playing and made cleric. I was tricked back then, but I thought that gems do increase skill level even if you haven’t invested in it.
That mob died and gave you his beloved gem for nothing! Such a cruel world.

I imagine how fun it’d be to see everybody with a level one Heal. Just one little square. That’d be so fun XD

This actually makes no sense since you don’t have wizard skill.
In my case I have the skill, but the gem doesn’t affect it.
It’s not “your case”. Skill gems don’t work the way you thought they did.
