somebody can explain the atribute system for skill with details. thanks
Attribute is basically a passive skill that will affect and increases the performance of that class skills.
For example, your character is a swordsman that has this attribute âUse one handed swordâ, that means your character can use that weapon.
There is also other attributes such as âPenetrationâ which will affect swordsmanâs âBashâ skill. Penetration attribute adds more splash damage to Bash. And then thereâs this âBlowâ attribute that gives âBashâ skill a knockdown effect.
Thereâs also some attributes that has levels and will increase as your class circle goes up (it wonât increase if you changed to another class). For example, âBash Enhance Lv1â can be accessed on swordsman circle 1. In order to access âBash Enhance Lv2â, you must continue to swordsman to circle 2. The same thing also applies to âBash Enhance Lv3â. CMIIW
Well, Attributes work like passive skills which can be purchased from Class NPCs. Most of them typically enhance your skillâs effectiveness, (increased damage, duration, etc.) but some also add addtional effects. (ex: Energy Boltâs damage increases by 50% when it hits sleeping enemies, Fireball inflicts burn status, etc.) Some of the attributes can even be turned on or off if you choose to do so.
Thanks for response so fast
Hi. I was not so sure about Attrinutes being passive. I thought they must be casted and last around 20 min or something like that (but I was wrong).
On the brazilian wiki they posted this image with translations that show swordie attributes with duration and cooldown. (and its wrong).
I checked on Steparus webpage and he mentions attributes as âpassives skills ⌠that can be learned in townâ. I will stick with his version since he played the beta.

Nice info you got there. But I still think attributes for being passive skills. In this case, if we activate a certain skill, the attribute related to that skill will automatically activated for specific durations.
No oneâs saying that passive attributes canât have any duration right?
Also, based on TOSGame wiki, how can you explain that âUse 1 hand swordâ attribute? So we have limited durations to equip 1 hand sword?
Yeah. I already edited my post. Brazilian wiki is wrong about those durations. It would make no sense to have to cast 8 passives or more per class, and some of those as basic as weapon wielding xD.
Oh! That durationâŚthatâs the time it takes to actually learn the attribute. During that wait period, you canât purchase any other attribute, but you are free to do anything else.
Ooh so we have to wait to learn attributes.
I donât know if itâs good of bad. At least itâs not like:
- âhi I want skillzâ
- âlet me stick them in ya headâ
- âgrantedâ
hey guys does anyone know if there is a limit of skills per circle ?
[edit] limit of attributes
You get 15 skill points per Circle, which is probably your only limiting factor.
@Baro88 No limit on having skills, but each skill has a level some can go as high as 15 so if you wanted to âmaxâ skills you might need to miss out on some. This ia where testing the game comes in handy, some skills donât need max to be effective so uou can figure out what skills need full points and which are fine with only 1.
This is an example of the same choice you have with the job system as well. You can max a job by staying in the same job for 3circle. Or, you might only need one circle of a certain job. If you want to max something, you probably are missing out of something else >_< they like to give you hard choicesâŚ
thanx for your answer man, but i wrote it wrong, it was suppose to be limite of attributes.
thanx for answering man, but i wrote it wrong.Do you know if there is a limit of attributes.
attributes have specific level limits. go to the attribute DB at TosBase. Iâm pretty sure they have max level info for attributes now.
There is no limit to the attributes-You can max them all. Differenât attritbutes have different level caps to them though. And the higher the attribute level the longer it takes to learn and the more expensive they get.
During beta the most limiting factor became my silver. Though when you have to wait 30 minutes to learn an attribute, it does mean you can pretty much make the silver for the next attribute while you wait.
Itâs a unique system for sure. I kind of like it.
ahh ok thnxs man
does the the attributes still works passive in advancemet? for example i have a lvl20 leather mastery: dexterity in my swordsman skill atttributes⌠does this passive still works if i advance it to highlander??
Yes, all of your attributes that you bought/upgraded will keep their effects even though you changed to another class.
