Skill Based Bm (No Thauma/Enchanter)

Since 99% of all Bm threads here are about AA builds.
Are Skill based builds even viable?

Just AA´ing is boring so i want to go with something like:
Corsair/Bm and linker or outlaw on the lastspot.

Silver isnt a problem.

Seen how BM SP is almost non existent you would need gear/complements that boost it and you are set :slight_smile:

I will go AA cause it fits my Character lore…

And it’s cheaper attribute wise. :haha:

Idk why you think Enchanter isn’t good for a skill based build, it’s still giving +5, still giving extra crit rate and damage, MS, Block.

I would say it’s not a good idea to go for a non AA based BM but if you’re gonna do it, first thing to look at, obvious choice is Outlaw. Blind Fire is an amazing skill, it’s poorly placed and I think most Outlaw builds should ignore it since Shield > Pistol, but if you’re going Pistol, not dagger, you get it and it’s great.

Linker is better for skill users than Auto users since you have a limited amount of hits, making them hit hard is more important.

Lastly, I have a Corsair BM Enchanter. Corsair is pretty skill heavy, Quick and Dead is better than RIP/Mozambique IMO, the flag buff encourages skills > autos, and although it’s range is bad, Hexen Dropper is a good skill.

I’d say combo the 3-4 above classes with it if you’re gonna do it.

What if I’m telling you, true caster BM using Shrink Body?

Meh i just dont like thauma.
And Corsairs boost is way too good then its between linker/Outlaw.

Why its not a good choice to play a non aa Bm?
Are the spcosts too high? (I dont realy care about sp costs)
Is AA bm just way stronger?

And isnt enchanter just like a flatboost?

yea because 33% of BM is outrage aka “AA the skill”
if you want to do hipster sht and deny BM’s identity maybe you could try dropping outrage lul.

I like outrage but enchanter only gives property dmg or am i wrong?
And 1k property dmg doesnt look that impressive^^^

it adds a bonus hit with lightning hands that scales, over reinforce gives you more patk, enchant glove will get an attribute which gives more crit rate

enchant earth gives you block chance which is a good layer of defense on top of scouts natural dodge chance

overall enchanter is a cheap and efficient class to pair with BM, oh and lightning hands essentially adds the strike tag to all your autos so if you grab a wastrel sword you can exploit its 2x crit rate effect, relieving you of going nuts with your crit rate.

if you actually want the nuttiest single target go with BM > Assasin > Linker … well later on since the buffs for scout tree hasn’t come yet, IMC still cucking us lol.

Yeah, but recasting DGS after every dagger skill is such a fun tax :frowning:

And Tryout Linker/Outlaw later.

hallucination smoke is reduced crit resist, which is far more valuable than crit rate, behead is an insane duration bleed that does high damage, piercing heart gives a ton of %crit rate if you play like a god and maintain its buff, instant accelration and annihilation are actually really good defensively to get you out of trouble, pair them with BM’s bloody overdrive for long I-frames

anyway heres a dude soloing velc in 18mins with bm linker assassin, the playstyle is as active as any “non AA BM build” since your stance dancing between pistol and dagger

Enchant Lightning is a flat boost that gets scaled based on your DEX. (Although currently it scales off SPR instead, NA IMC monkeys didn’t change it when they added the patch so we gotta deal with it for 6 months while they wait for confirmation from Korea to change it to what is intended)

However Lightning Hands is a % boost, like Gung Ho, but higher and only applies to auto attacks.

The reason it’s not good to play non AA BM is because there is that this game is all about either getting as many hits as you can, or as high of skill factor as you can. If you can’t get over 1500% skill factor, and you don’t have armor ignore. Then it’s all about how many hits you can get, BM skills are slow, you can hit so many more times with auto attacks.

There is 2 other reasons though. 2 of BMs best skills are auto attack only. Freeze Bullets even work on bosses now, which feels great.

The other reason is just how much support has been given to the auto attack build. They didn’t make a lot of skill casting support for Guns, it’s mostly auto attack support. So to utilize it’s support at it’s best you go auto attacks. Ofc I am not saying exclusively, on my BM I still use Tase, Smash Bullet, Quick and Dead, RIP (mostly for Shark Cutter proc or trash mobs), Bloody Overdrive and even the lesser skills have some use.

i have around 530 dex and it gives around 1700 damage to everyone in ur party, so it’s not that bad.

Since when doe ench glove gives crit rate? It’s increases only accuracy. Maybe u mean Tracer bullet(BM skill)? It has attribute that increases crit rate, but for skills only.

It works right as it should, the only thing is wrong with that skill is decription. If u open ur stat, u will see that Ench lightning gives u another number and it scales from DEX.

Sadly it works only on “low tier” bosses :frowning: In doesn’t works in raid dungeons or against world bosses, it would be too OP i guess.

i didnt say it has the attribute, i said it will get one.

I end up with Corsair>Bm>Linker its realy strong on bosses.

Are Spiritual chain and physical link usefull?

I picked BM-shinobi-linker and quite like it. Shinobi is underperforming right now. Clone die way too fast, consume too much sp so it’s better to take corsair instead. All Corsair skills except impale dagger can be used with gun and they complement BM skills’ downtime quite well.

Even though I dont take thau/ench, AA is still relevant at times. Freeze bullet and outrage are quite handy. But I just like that I can relax and save sp sometimes despite this char is built for skill-based purpose.
