not any good options, gladiator bands offer no magic defense and no crit - phadas look pretty at first glance but again, no crit and they rape your evasion at -54 a pop (assuming you ever manage to get the dawn fragments)
theres a saalus version of the max peta with slightly lower stats but more magic def, never seen it drop myself though
