Sissel Bracelet Frenzy ~ Literally useless?

Hi everyone. I really want to share my thoughts regarding Sissel Bracelet’s “Frenzy”.

Frenzy - When your attacks are dodged, you gain a frenzy buff which increases your attack by 235 and movement speed by 10. Decreases your Physical defense by 88 for 30 seconds if stacked 8 times (if you miss 8 times or more)

For me it seems kind of useless. Here’s why :

  1. You can get it if your attacks are dodged

  2. How can the buff be useful if you cant hit your enemy?

  3. If your attacks aren’t dodged, you wont get frenzy

  4. The more you stack frenzy, the more you’d get rekt coz of the -88 defense.

Kindly please share your thoughts.

It is actually if you dodged an attack.

That’s not what the tooltip says, care to explain a bit more ?

The item has a wrong tooltip. It says “Avoiding an enemy’s attack will trigger” ~ by that means if you dodge their attacks. It doesn’t work that way. Tested it. It triggers if you dodge their attacks.

Might as well ignore #4. 1 and 2 seems to bother me.

As far as I know, the current version should say:
“- Triggers [Frenzy] for 5 seconds when an enemy avoids your attack”

Yep that’s how it should be. But my post is about when it procs. I’m a Swordsman with a current build of 40 base con 150 base dex rest to str. In order to make use “Frenzy” I should lower my DEX so I’d miss and frenzy triggers. I’d hit my high dex enemy again and the chances of my enemy dodging is high due to my low dex so I’d gain another frenzy charge. #2 comes in.

If skills don’t miss (Cataphract,Hoplite skills in my case) then I could make use of it. You won’t gain a frenzy charge if you can hit your enemy so its literally useless

This is one of those things that can’t really be theorycrafted, you need pratical experience and test the item for yourself. Would be much appreciated If a top player could show up and give us his insights.

I’ve tested it with someone who has high evasion for me to miss my attacks and someone with low dex to test my dodge. Frenzy proc’d when my attacks were dodged.

It was with a musketeer who had very high dex. He one shotted my 20k hp afterwards.:joy:

this is an item that is very much biased to Rangers :joy:
we ranger has Critical shoot we gain almost 62% crit chance. (take note… “chance” not “rate”)

most ranger has very low dex. because we have this skill to compensate crits. this sissel item is heaven for us.

i would like to ask
Who is right on this conversation?

because i can’t help but think that sissel bracelet is useless.
i have a lot of them and not once have i been abe to use the effect.

just to be clear i want to ask.

frenzy activates if you dodge an attack targeted at you or if you miss a Hit
on a monster you are attacking?

i would like to revive this old topic since i don’t see a clear concensus

how do you propperly use it ?
With Low accuracy or with High evasion?

as far as i remember, there is a way in forcing your attacks to miss. some video lies somewhere i forgot where it was.

bramia, do you imply on your words while being self aware that sissel bracelet is sold at least at 14 million each and that item is meant to be ignored so everyone buying and selling that item is making a big mistake on time and silver?

or did you just say that while denying the fact that maybe it does have a way to be used ?

because the closest thing i have seen to anyone being able to use the sissel bracelet is a STR buid Fencer with a realy bad dex.
just hypothesis of course, i still make no sense of the point of a buff that won’t help you hit the enemy.

i’m honestly trying to understand why is sissel bracelet so expensive and yet it’s imposible to use, but what i want to understand more is why this subject seems so quiet o:

just how useful or useless is the sissel bracelet.

is the sissel buff activated through Lack of Accuracy or High evasion?

Without the use of Frenzy, it still helps for swordman & archer with its high critical rate which is one of the most important things in our builds. Not easy to gain 37x2 critical rate from other gears/accessories, I still can’t find better options :confused:

Anyway i really want to know a (easy) way to use Frenzy, it might help v__v

Many people go for high dex after r8. Even inquisitors go for dex. You’ll find people dodging your attacks once or twice (if not all of them, depending on your awareness about how important accuracy is). That’s why people go sissel for pvp, aside from its crit rate.

And to answer your question, it is activated after your attack being dodged by an enemy. Cheers.

still i am confused, now that it’s settled that it is based on Low Accuracy
the issue at hand would be the following.

How to activate it ???

i myself have been unable to , not even Once, Trigger Sissel’s bracelet’s Frenzy.

They should change that to.

For every dodge or non crit. Increase crit chance by 5% till crits. Than goes on 3 second cool down.
