Also, if i choose Corsair>Doppelsoeldner would i loose dual wielding?

Can’t say if it’s good or bad. We’re still trying to find some synergy to other class if Corsair will be good support or just extra baggage.

Do you mean the skill Double Weapon Assault? or you mean you can’t equip 2 weapons? If the 1st one, then Yes! You will lose the skill Double Weapon Assault. If the latter, I’m not really sure.

imo, Depends on class build. But it will be Wizard type. Like Wiz > Cryo > Psyco > 3x Elem. Others can outDPS this but this build is OP in both PvE and PvP.
I haven’t been able to test mine in pvp because it’s been disabled for quite some time now.
It’d probably be good if your team has a ton of cc. This still is only rank six out of the eight to ten there might be in the final version of the game.

What a terrible logic you got there m8.
You only assume as if the Corsair is stupid enough to face those classes 1 on 1. Corsair got a pretty good tools to be good in PvP, you just jave to be good at what you do.
Remember as PvP in this game is 5v5, you can do a lot of things by the means of staying alive:
- Sprint as stamina is locked to over 200+. This means you got the advantage in terms of movement speed.
- Iron Hook while being backed by your teammates.
- Restrain + Subweapon cancel combo on 1v1 situation. Iron Hook an enemy, Keelhauling and start hitting your opponent to cause stun on them.
- Invest on Peltasta if you are looking for a pure support Corsair with a little bit of offensive traits.
etc.
The possibility is endless on every class, and PVP is not about dealing the most damage.
To answer OP’s sub question, the highest DPS on the PVP would be Monk’s double punch since damage wise it is very good and spammable as well, Corsair would only hit like 200-300 which is not a very good DPS choice, but this relates on my question which is Why would you want a higher dps class in PvP? Burst will be much better since each round resets all your skill’s CD as far as I know.
