Silver / Tokens Trading Restriction Is killing the game

As the title , i’m sick of this restriction . It almost freeze the Marketplace , i can’t borrow my friend’s silver or sell my tokens either , ppl now need to use Talts as a currency . Does IMC have any solution on this ?

How many times a day you’re planning to bump it up? Did you read this: https://treeofsavior.com/news/?n=363 ?

Also, what stops you from selling tokens on market… 10% tax?

It sucks and there should just be unlimited trades for all users per month but if mmorpgs had an answer on how to stop real money trading and still give freedom to their users - We wouldn’t have to have marketplace restrictions.

Though, I do kind of agree that silver restrictions are silly because people will just start trading in items to get around it anyway and it trivializes the worth of silver.

Sell your token in the market, or kindly wait for someone with enough talts to trade with you for that token.

While i do agree that limited trades is silly.
Silver will always be usefull thanks to the market, it also forces a silver sink due to taxes.

A mild method to reduce an influx of generated silver.

It’d still be nice to be able to trade with friends. A big part of the social aspect is being able to help your friends - but with potential on items it’s a bit harder to buy stuff on the market.

For example if there is an item on the market with 2 potential left and you’d like to buy your friend or a material they need for crafting that has 1 potential - you might run into the problem that it’s not possible to buy it and trade it to them. In a lot of games you’d give your friend the silver to buy it themselves but currently this is impossible too.

So it can create a lot of situations that are detrimental to the social aspects of the game. I know it has a purpose to stop exploits of the system and I don’t have a good solution on how to fix it either, but it still sucks at times.

yeah, i understand you and i agree, just trying to be positive with what our current system.(eventhough i kinda dislike it)

at best i hope we will be able to trade with friends once we have had them in friendlist for X ammounts of days, its not the best solution, but its atleast better than what we got now.

while I do agree limited trades is a really stupid way of dealing with RMTers, I like the no-silver trading thing, that spices up the market a bit, soon the new currency for trades will be talt! :joy:

I don’t want to get too picky with it YET, I’ll wait to see how do they change it in the near future, they know we hate it and IMC has a good trackrecord of listening to the playerbase, so let’s just wait and see how they handle it on the future (maybe they’ll change it on the F2P release date? :open_mouth:)

that’s a really great idea actually !

There’s a minium price of token , and tons of ppl out there selling at the lowest price . I need to buy a rare recipe so what am i suppose to do ? I can’t sell with lower price . Pray for someone choose mine but not tons of same price tokens out there ? And even if they had bought it , i need 2 FK*NG DAYS to get silver , the item that i need to buy will be gone by then .

I was about to buy a 2.5m recipe . I had 1m7 silver and 2 tokens . I can’t borrow silver from my friend , can’t ask him to buy it for me either (the recipe will be locked after the trade) . If i try to sell my tokens , it takes at least 2days , the seller just said no .
So what do you recommend me to do ?

There is already a silver sink in this game: they’re called attributes.

I recommend to wait for them to implement a new system they talked about and then continue a discussion based on how that system will work. The way it works right now is disgusting, I agree.

Also I recommend you to keep your tokens for now. Pretty sure their value will increase quite a lot after game goes F2P.

Yes, people are super annoyed, do a search on the forums, there’s probably hundreds of threads about this.

Yup, and enhancing equipment, and taxes for squires (and Alchemist/Pardoner?)

Attributes alone isnt enough. And it doesnt reduce the effective silver gain through rmt at all. Through market, either the buyer/seller of silver is forced to compensate the 10/30% tax.

It gets pretty expensive as you rank up though.
