Silver anvil helped me out

Its still RNG, but its “less RNG” when it comes to gambling enhancement levels.

I never said IT WILL SUCCEED IF YOU FOLLOW THIS METHOD but it will be more likely to succeed, at least mathematically speaking.

It was a joke towards nate, don’t mind me.

@Destructivo I see, I do remember in math there is a theory that state for every failure you get, your chance of success will increase. Will give it a try when I get enough silver again, no lost in trying.

@greyhiem Ah… I miss that post lol

Dang, I envy you. I’m too poor to go beyond +5. I have 3 x lv.6 green gems on mine though so thay’s nice still. XD

It will increase your success rate if you don’t understand how math works, yes.

Lol. I Used my two silver anvil just to make mine to +7 . Talking about poor. Haha.

It won’t increase your “success chance”.

Its still the same on every enhancement, but theorycrafting you are less likely to fail if you failed before.

You won’t undestand that if you are middle grader tho.

Hello, fellow member of the poor cata club. Hahaha

I want to believe you but I also suspect that upgrade chances for two different equips are independent of each other so if it fails for A, it doesn’t improve the chances for B. That’s just me though. Thanks for sharing your experience. I may try it when I reach the point to need overupgrades (still trying to max attris).

What it has to do with silver anvil, you changed the topic title e.e

Remember, you are not “cheating” the game.

Its not as if this is a feature in the game, its how luck works in general, you’re not going to tell me that the chance to throw 100 different coin and get head on every single one of them is 50% now are you?

What matters is how many failures VS success and that’s it, changing the weapon or the coin will not make it work differently.

And this is just the “less risky” way, it doesn’t mean it will give you the result you seek or a +100, but you should be smart enough to expect a failure in case you succeed enhancing 3 times in a row past +10, so you would want to get that failure on something other than your main gear.

@nate0106951 wow your so lucky haha, last event I open all the box, so I only have 1 now, was planning to use it at around +8 lol. Kinda wonder is there a hidden luck value for each of our char, sometimes I do feel some of my char is more lucky to get drop then others.

@Biskee I believe you can also think of it as something to ease your mind when you enchant it as well. Since in the end it still RNG. Remember the lv90 cube we all run for, lol, I got 200 talt from it, my best outcome was an opal lol, with a 5% success chance, theoretically speaking I should have gotten at least a few out of those 200+ cube, but… none

Hmm …you should have not opened all the box. Especially after they gave the stat reset. What I know is that all got 2 silver anvil that day if you delivered the box. I also have one more though got it in hunting event. I might use it in my +11 brandish . I am just gathering courage and will be going to church this sunday .haha.Wish me luck.

Want to talk about luck?

Got a mrtis helm in quest. Then got 5 enchant scroll on scavenge event. Used 1 scroll on my mirits. Got a patk41 on that. Exactly 100% what I wanted .literally I was thinking patk 41…lol…all that in span of 1 hour…haha

Another

Opened 40 cubes…all talt no arde.

Next day. Opened 1 cube. arde dagger
Haha

Should had say most, those mystery one I did turn them in.

lol from the sounds of it you’re quite lucky :confounded:

How much potential do you think is a good idea to stop? I not sure what should I do with my last 3 potential now. Got a few golden anvil, but I don’t think I should waste them yet.

In a true RNG, no that’s not true. Luck would be luck. I can flip a coin and get 4 heads in a row even if I had 50% chance to get tails.

By your logic, we should expect a success after a series of failure then?

What do you mean stop? Mean stop for that day? If you have 3 or minimum 2 failures already. Stop for that day. You are messing with real life universal law of chance here. …in which it has nothing to do with the game mechanic. It is your pure irl luck…

Yeah could be that.

He just seems defensive when I simply stated that I don’t believe his explanation was the case. XD

Woops, should have state my question clearer, I mean how much potential should we reserve for our weapon? I don’t plan to sold it, since I don’t think anyone will want to buy a low potential weapon.

Yes, we are talking in a true RNG.

I can flip a coin and get 4 heads in a row even if I had 50% chance to get tails.

Did I say you can’t? Or did I say you are more likely to fail?

Seems like you didn’t check what I linked, so have this to help you:

The chance to keep getting the same thing once again is lower the more you keep getting it, in reality it is still the same chance, but in overall its less due to being successive tries.

It seems like you somehow read “having lower chance to get something again” as “impossible”, but you are still implying it is the same chance as getting success from 1st try as getting success 100 time in a row, which is clearly not equal.

What do you mean stop? Mean stop for that day? If you have 3 or minimum
2 failures already. Stop for that day. You are messing with real life
universal law of chance here. …

I agree, either you do it successively or don’t do it.

You probably didn’t understand it either.

The math theories people in these forums come up with never cease to amaze me.
