Shout Problems: Can we talk about it?

Why don’t we have active GMs on Shout to solve the problem about all this hate we’re seeing everyday? Since the closed beta version, I see many trash xenophobic talks. Aaaaaaaaand we don’t have a limitation in megaphones.

What a delicious combination.

We’re seeing a few HUE players in Sh- yes, I called HUE players. The issue is not about players from Brazil or even the portuguese language, but a few CANCER members that talk portuguese ONLY to spam memes, random stuff or to OFFEND someone that don’t understand portuguese, in Shout. Do not generalize, please.

There are brazilian players that only ask for answers in portuguese, and I don’t see any problem with that. However, because of those HUE players - not brazilian players in general, - a few other members has started a xenophobic dialogue for DAYS in a INTERNATIONAL version, like “Brazilian Pilgrim vs The World.”

We don’t combat hate with hate, dude. I don’t wanna a toxic community, please

And none of these players, HUE Players or Xenophobic Players, were punished or even banned due these offensives. I mean, come on, IMC! :frowning:

And heya! Now we have things like this:

Why do we have a International Server if we see so much trash talks everyday?

Imagine when the players can’t tell their nationalities just to not being blocked from the others. The community is going to be a nightmare.

Peace.

I also think there should be some features to block access of players with bad behavior, or this will spin out of control pretty soon when F2P starts.

The reason being that people who can pay $$ just to play one month earlier are already this toxic, I can’t imagine how things will scalate when the core of F2P users arrive (which are usually more toxic than P2P players in general and don’t care as much about the game or community)

Not just for this, but for all that kind of issues, I wish we had a report player function in-game.

I honestly think IMC is too small to manage bans over bad behavior.

It’s weird, I thought it was a basic thing until I sort of got back into mmos recentlyish. When I used to play, people reported others for harassment and badmouthing and rumor spreading and whatnot, and bans actually took place whether I agreed with it or not. I’ve even gotten warnings myself, though that’s prob not something to be proud of ahah

Now, you’ll probably just be told to deal with it on your own. not quite a solution, but ye. I block mics completely. I’m one of the weird people who likes microphone systems in mmos, but the annoying bits far outweigh the neat shouts.

Nontheless, consistent spammers should get banned. shouldn’t be too difficult shrugs.
