Shout Chat needs to go

The game is nearly unplayable at times and I’m afraid of venturing into an equal leveled area because I’ll probably die from not being able to defend myself.

I don’t know why chat would cause the game to lag. Probably has something to do with shout being global and the banner on top.

I see people wanting to put a level limit to megaphones. w/e. It’s a temporary fix and doesn’t fix the underlying issue.

Just disable it until a permanent fix is found. I’m sorry, I would sacrifice global chat than to not have the ability to simply play the damn game. Thanks.

I have disbelief that us disabling it will solve lag since the messages are sent to the server and then to you.

in both iCBTs whenever the shout chat was disabled by IMC the game was so so so so smooth…and whenever they turned it back on…npc delays. Besides, with so much gold advertising it’s better to turn it off. It is a convenience, but it is doing more bad than good.

Hey this is actually a good idea. iRO had this disabled. It’s not really doing any real good right now, IMO.

If you want to sell something, use the market. Questions? Use the forums or go to town.
