Simple idea, but I thought It’d be fun to make a discussion about it.
Bots are inevitably going to flood the market (as is currently happening). Their goal is to make silver that they can then sell via their RMT websites. So what if the items that they list on the market stay listed after the bot gets banned? I.E. the silver that a player pays to get that item gets eaten by the game. New bots would be competing with their (banned) bot counterparts. To make it worse for them, the listings from banned acounts could be front-loaded on the market. The only downside I see to this is a boom in rarer (lower level) items.
